I wrote this story loosely based on books I have read, and songs that I love. Each chapter has a song or songs to go with it. The songs will be featured at the beginning of each chapter. Feel free to listen, and enjoy the theme of the chapter.
This story is about five teenagers who struggle with their own lives and their friend's cancer. It is a story of strength, hope, finding yourself, and humor. I will try to get details as close as possible to real life.
I will include what I believe the characters look like in this author's note. You can imagine them however you want though.
This story will be told from all five main characters points of view. I'm doing this because all the characters are vital to the story. The story will mainly be told from Mackenzie's point of view. I will label who's POV each chapter is.
This story will contain five different stories, one for each character. The characters all have an arc built for them. They all have respective relationships with each other, and characters that are close to them.
Lastly the first chapter is kind of like an prologue. It takes place six days before the rest of the story. The first full chapter is titled the Wedding.
