"GET OVER HERE!" My mom shouted as she continued beating me with a steel pipe.
I was crying my eyes out as she kept beating me for no reason. My mom was always like this, she thinks she's so pretty and would do anything for her looks, including abusing her own daugther to keep boys to stop looking at me and look at her instead.

My dad? Psh, he left us long before for some chick way younger than him. I used to have a 12-year-old sister named Hae Hyunbin, but sadly, she died due to so much abuse my mom did to her. My mom didnt even have a funeral for her in order to keep her reputation. I had a tiny funeral for her, I would pray for her under the big tree in Gwangju Central Park(I just made that up btw), it was her favourite place to go. My mom would throw everything at me, a bottle, a chair, an umbrella, a lost jam jar, anything.

After an hour, she stopped beating me. She keeps me locked inside the basement so that nobody would look at me more than her.
"STAY IN THERE, DONT YOU DARE BANG THE DOOR OR I WILL BEAT YOU UNTIL YOU BECOME UNCONSCIOUS."
She left and I sat there, crying.
Why did this have to happen to ME?
I cant take it anymore
Im gonna run away, but how?
I looked over to the glass window beside me and immediately looked for something strong that can break the window
I can smash the window and runaway. I just need to pack all my stuff
I didnt pack much stuff cause my mom took it all.
I got dressed in a long sweater and a mask to cover my bruises. My mom makes me wear a mask all the time to avoid people looking at my face
this but ur a girl or maybe ur a boy idk ⬇️

I found a screwdriver and threw it to the window, and the window eventually broke.
I heard my mom fumbling with the door. I quickly got out and ran as fast as I could.
"COME BACK HERE YOU SH*T HEAD!" I heard my mom shout. I stopped running when I didnt hear her voice anymore. I walked to the train station, luckily I brought my secret stash of money (50,000 won/$50), and bought a train ticket from Gwangju to Seoul. (idk if u can get from Gwangju to Seoul in a train xD)

I got to Seoul, and when I reached there it started raining. I had no umbrella and didnt want to buy one because I only have 50,000 won, the train ticket costs 10,000 and i would want to spend my money usefully. I ran to a bus stop that had shade, I saw the sky getting darker as i looked around to find shelter. The convenient stores were closed and i couldn't call anybody to get me because my mom didnt let me have a phone to avoid me telling people about her abusing me.

"Hey! Get out of here, you're not allowed to be here unless you're waiting for a bus and the bus stations are closed already so go home!" A police officer shouted.

"B-but I have no where to go." I stated

"I dont care, now go!" He shoved me into the rain

Great, where do I go now?

I ran in the rain trying to look for shelter. I sighed as I had no choice but to sit on a doorstep that had shade. I felt sleepy and laid myself down on the step and felt my vision going black as I fell asleep.

Hopefully whoever is in this house wont kick me out...
