Why cows are holy for many HINDUS..
It is believed by HINDUS that a women who feed her milk to a child is a mother.. Even in INDIA if a women can't feed milk than from cow milk a child can be feed. Being a animal like cow can feed milk to childrens and shows a respect as mother.
