Chapter 6 - Half a Heart

I looked around and played with the lyrics on the computer as I found one lyric stand out to me the most. I listened to his sweet voice fill my ears.

Forget all we said that night

No, it doesn't even matter

'Cause we both got split in two

My eyes widened, Louis. I was right, Louis did write this song about me, this is his band. Diana was also his song to me. It all makes sense now. Louis still cares about me. But the question is; should I really trust him again?

-Louis POV-

I was now dragged in to Starbucks with Sage and Perrie.

"So... Why do you wanna talk to me..."

I asked them not trying to play around anymore. I was so humiliated yesterday by Carter and now I'm being hassled by my ex' best friends. This is not my week.

"Because, we heard that you and Carter broke up and we just wanted to be there for you to lean on."

I was so shocked to hear Sage say those words I thought she'd never say. She hates me.. Why would she be so 'nice' all of the sudden?

"Thanks but no thanks. There's something up with you guys. I don't really wanna know what it is.."

I said a I tried to get up but Perrie pushed me back down,

"Seriously, Louis. Enough is enough."

Perrie raised her voice as I gave in and just stayed down.

"Ok. Ask me anything you want."

Perrie looked Sage as they both took a deep breath,

"We know that Roxy is still heartbroken from your break-up and we just want you guys to at least be friends so she can stop thinking about you that way."

My heart was sinking at every word she said, I couldn't let them know that I was still in love with Roxy... On the other hand, I kind of like that they are trying to be there for me.

"I would love to be her friend, but I'm not too sure that she likes that idea..."

I said telling the truth, I felt like we were back in that LoveGame that we always played in high school. Just a bunch of skinny love.

"We have a plan, you just have to be in on it."

Sage spoke up as I looked at their special smirks on those faces.

"Just tell me."

I said as Perrie placed her hand on mine,

"You have to follow her around. She's trying to avoid you. Make sure she talks to you every day at least once."

I tossed my head back and fourth, not quite sure of it myself.

"I-I'm in."

They both cheered as I pointed at Sage,

"As long as you keep your promise."

They looked at each other confused,

"That you will be there for her and that you will be on my side when I'm doing our little plan."

They both nodded their heads. This plan is not all of that bad. I get to spend more time with Roxy. I can't wait to see how this ends up for us.

-Roxy's POV-

I was walking to my usual Tuesday night gig at the Shirley temple bar. I felt like someone was following me. I haven't told anyone about this because I need a little something of my own. I started to walk faster as I walked in the brightly lit up, purple bar as I saw the boss gesture me towards the stage.
