Chapter 4:Na'er

《Red Mountain Academy; Inside Class》

Tang Long and Tang Wulin arrived at class instantly turning the other's heads as they were all now present.
These classmates started boasting about their martial souls and they formed groups ignoring Tang Long and Tang Wulin due to Tang Wulin's martial soul and Tang Long not telling his.

A teacher then walks in and the students scramble towards their seats like caged birds that got set free.

Lin Ximeng:"Hello class my name is Lin Ximeng and I'll be teaching you the basic knowledge for soul masters for the next 3 years, How about you give yourselves a brief introduction about yourself?"

Everyone introduced themselves and Tang Wulin got laughed at by the whole class instanly triggering Tang Long so he covered his forhead with a palm before releasing a sliver of emperor might contained in the emperor's mark so that they would shut up.

Tang Long was next but intead of show and tell he just handed a letter to Lin Ximeng that was given to him by the spirit master so that his martial soul wont cause him to attract trouble.

Lin Ximeng:"Okay class, today is your first day of school so i'll explain different martial soul categories and in the afternoon i'll teach you how to meditate."

Tang Long was standing before Wan Yunchao who is already defeated by one mere flick of a sleeve from Tang Long.Back in the cafeteria, Wulin was given the title grassy rice bucket due to his monstrous apetite which caught Tang Long off guard. Later Lin Ximeng clearly didn't pay too much attention to Wulin which troubled Tang Long so he had to fill in the proper role as "Teacher" for Wulin.

Tang Long:"next time dont mess with me okay?"Tang Long threatingly asked Wan Yunchao but to his dismay, Wan Yunchao was already gone.

Walking down the road, he saw Wulin get kicked and threatened by a knife by some group of delinquents but Wulin managed to scare them off by using his status as a soul master and after Wulin finished talking to the little girl, Tang Long immediately rushed towards the delinquents before heading towards  Wulin.

*Pak*

One crisp sound echoed through the street and the delinquent's boss was sent flying like a kite with it's string cut.

Tang Long:"Next time you do this to my lil bro, I cannot guarantee your group's safety."Tang Long furiously stared towards the delinquents with a sadistic grin, which sent them running while carrying their half dead leader.

Tang Long:"Wulin! are you alright?" Tang Long asked worriedly.

Tang Wulin:"Im alright brother long, it was nothing."Wulin replied to assure Tang Long

Tang Long:*sigh*"Let me accompany you two home, just in case something happens"

Tang Wulin:"En! brother long meet Na'er, Na'er meet brother long"Wulin cheerily introduced Na'er to Tang Long

Then a little girl with purple eyes closely similar to Wulin's and with short silver hair looked at Tang Long curiously

Tang Long:"Hi my name is Tang Long but you can call me big brother Long, I will definetly protect the two of you in the future."Tang Long happily said for that he gained a new possible friend.

Na'er:"En" Na'er replied but she suddenly blushed due to her seeing the long black haired kid in front of her and the fact that her stomach suddenly roared with hunger after Tang Long's introduction.

Tang Wulin:"Thats right, me and brother Long will definetly protect you, lets go home and brother Long it's going to get late  so we are going to have a sleep over at my house!" Wulin said excitedly.

Tang Long:"alright, let me just call someone."*pulls out a soul communicator*"Hey dad, im sleeping over at my friend Tang Wulin's place."with that he immediately turned it off out of fear from his father.

After that Tang Long along with Na'er got dragged towards Wulin's home.

Tang Wulin:"Mom I'm home!"Wulin cheerily called

After his mother saw them covered in dirt except for Tang Long, Wulin narrated his encounter towards his mother who got worried but calmed down and dragged the two dirt covered kids towards the bathroom while Tang Long inspected his inventory with a maximum ten current empty spaces that can be filled with anything except living organisms with each slot having 10sqmeters of size.

Tang Long:"My inventory is fine for now but in the future, I need to expand it."Tang Long thought dissapointedly.

~20 plates of food later~

Tang Long was sitting on his sleeping bag meditating while the emperor's mark was intensely strengthening Tang Long's body causing him to grit his teeth due to the feeling of his body being refined in a cauldron.

Tang Long:"Status bar!"Tang Long ordered the empereror's mark.
