Lucy the Hidden Leaf Wizard

The Nightmare

          Hi!  So this is the first time I am doing a fan fiction! Sorry for the bad grammar in advance and if the writing style isn't amazing :) Note that this is when the guild all came back together after separated.

          I was panting from all the running away I was doing. I could barley go on, but I pushed myself afraid of what they would do to me if I ever stopped to breathe. I ran between two trees barley seeing what was in front of me in the pitch dark.

          I turned back checking to see if they had caught on yet. I couldn't see them. It was if they disappeared out of thin air! I turned my head back in front of me only to be hit in the face with a branch. I fell down in the humid grass. Holding my head with my right hand, I slowly got up.

          "ow....Shit" I swore noticing people jumping off the trees, landing gracefully.

          They now surrounded me. They were all dressed in black cloaks that covered there face only leaving an area for their eyes. On there foreheads were headbands with a strange sign. Upon a closer inspection, it kind of looked like a leaf...

          I suddenly realized in what situation I was in and started to panic. There was no escape to this. I was stuck. I put myself in a fighting stance. I couldn't summon a celestial sprit either. I had used all of my magic power already... I grabbed my whip ready to hit anyone. Not a single one attacked. I didn't move either. I was waiting for them to make the first move. Just like that, they started turning in a circle at an amazing speed. A blue light appeared in one of the men's or women's hands. A ball was thrown at me.

          I moved to the side as it came for me. I quickly whipped my whip in front of me showing I wasn't afraid to fight back if they pushed me too far. Another came straight at me. I whipped the ball of light sending it in another direction. It landed right in front of one of the attackers sending them flying back. I smirked at my work. I had this feeling that someone was above me. i brushed the feeling off thinking it was nothing and concentrated on the enemy in front of me.

          I threw my whip in front of me signaling them to get away from me. I was worried I was going to collapse in the middle of all of this. Catching my breath, a warmth on both sides of my head distracted me. I soon realized it was a pair of hands. My body had no strength to stand up anymore. Right as I was about to make contact with the ground....

          "GYAAAAAaaa!...." I screamed panting and sweating like crazy, aching from every inch of my body. The warm body next to me didn't help either. Natsu had somehow managed to slip into my bed again, even though I had a bigger couch than in my last apartment.

" Lucy, what's going on? Why are you screaming?..." Natsu asked half asleep, almost sounding as if he didn't even care if I didn't know better. 

"It's nothing, just a nightmare...I'll go back to sleep"I say as I turn my back to him and throwing the cover over my shoulder. I snuggled deeper into my pillow and sighed. I will turn a blind eye on him this time... and maybe tomorrow too....

           I was still worried about the nightmare I had. It had me uneasy. It felt like it was fake, like it was too real to be true. As I stressed about it, a muscular and warm arm wrapped around my waist. A blush crept onto my face. Natsu was obviously sound asleep and not conscious about his actions, but I could not retain myself. I could feel his breath on my neck. He was as warm as a fireplace making me sleepy.

          As I was going to close my eyes I heard Natsu mumbling something," Lucy, you are safe here...". I was blushing even harder now. Is he really awake? I took my chances and turned around only to be disappointed. Natsu was softly snoring with a small smile on his face. He was obviously dreaming about beating up a monster or probably a job. Still, I am over joyed that he dreams about me in his sleep.

          I smiled at the cute little dragon slayer beside me. Oh Natsu, how would you react if I told you how I feel when you touch me, when you say my name, and the butterflies I get when you walk in a room?... I gave him a small kiss on the forehead and looked at his ace one last time. He was now grinning in his sleep. How cute...

          I closed my eyes and fell in a deep slumber next to my little dragon.

          Sorry if this chapter is short. I had to go to bed beause I have school tomorrow :(
