Chapter 1

I'm your average nerd or geek, whatever you want to call me.

I have long frizzy chocolate brown hair that ends just at my hips. Slender brown coloured eyes with a tint of gold finished off with thick eyelashes above them. Freckles that lightly cover under my eyes on my tan skin. I wear these horrible black glasses on my face so I dont walk or stumble into anything. And to top it all off my top row of teeth are covered in thick blue braces. Wow. Yup thats me. Aaliyah Mathews. Oh and did I mention im chubby? No not chubby, fat.

I'm the girl people pick on in gym class because I fail to achieve anything envolving physical activity, the girl no one sits next to at lunch. Usually my lunch gets tipped all over me but sometimes I have my lucky days. I lurk between the book shelves at school because thats where I feel like I belong, well besides in maths class. I love maths!!

See what I mean. Typical nerd.

I only have one friend. Bahaha no surprises there. Julie Janes has been my bestfriend and partner in crime since we were 5. Julie is absolutely gorgeous. Pitch black curls flow loosely just past her shoulders and her blue eyes are to die for!! She is very slim and has an olive skin tone.

Drop dead gorgeous.

Sometimes I think we dont belong as friends. Julie is popular I know that but me and Julie are basically family. We are sisters. And we both know for sure that our friendship is unbreakable. We are completely different in appearance but our love for certain things are exactly and utterly the same.

Both our mothers worked at the same kindergarten. They are bestfriends which is why I think me and Julie are so close. Our mothers were pregnant at the same time and they went through the pregnancy together. Then they were able to go back to work and take us with them. Our friendship started to grow and grow. And it still hasn't stopped.

I go to a pretty crappy high school. Well in my opinion anyways. Sometimes I feel like I am the crap in my crappy high school. Lol you're not. Well it definitely feels like it!!!

Anyways...

At my horrid high school everyone is in there so called 'groups' or as Brittany would say 'squads'. You have the nerds, jocks, emos, socially awkwards, and the popular mean girls. I like to call them 'The irrelevants'. Then last but not least theres me. I'm my own group. Bahaha loser!! Yea yea I know.

So there you have it. Thats basically all about me. My family? Oh there later on in the story. If you're a over excited hormonal teenage girl you are going to love my brother, everyone does.

School holidays are over and I'm back to my hell hole high school.
