mariana's trench

106 27 13

he rubbed his eyes,
trying to open them

but he was unable to see,
and he came to a conclusion

he had never closed his eyes on the world,
for he had faith that one day no one would have to

but soon the world grew dark,
everyone sunk deeper into themselves

and soon they all had drowned,
consumed by their labels

they made it down to mariana's trench
where they could only feel

but wasn't feeling what led them to this?
to sinking so down under?

those once striking green eyes,
Didn't matter to them anymore

for everything was now so dark,
nothing could be noticed anymore
