It was the day before Nationals, and the Glee Club were arriving early at school for final rehearsals before flying out to Chicago that afternoon.
However, Rachel was noticeably absent. She was not feeling well, and had no idea what was wrong with her. So in case she was infectious, she decided to say at home in bed.
As the students arrived, they noticed that Principal Figgins was talking earnestly with Mr Schue.
"You're probably wondering what I'm doing here," he announced once all the students had arrived. "I have business to attend to in Chicago, so I will be flying out with you this afternoon. I may even have time to see your performance."
Turning to Mr Schue, he said "I hear the Troubletones are performing a number by Pee Exclamation Mark Nnk. I'd very much like to hear it."
"Sure thing," Mr Schue said as the band started to play 'What About Us.'
