Chapter Six

*Brooklyn's pov*
"Ready?" Cass asked as she put the already paid for check on the table, there was a pen marking on the check... A phone number... And a note? 'For the lovely lady' ohhhhh man was this boy not getting a tip! We all left and walked out to the car.
"Hey... Why didint you take his number? He seemed totally into you" Jack asked Cass as we reached the car
Really Jack!? Really!?
"He wasn't really my type, and he was very unprofessional... Like dude, it's a diner not a club, stop flirting...." She said and that made me feel a bit better
"Okay where to now?" Mikey asked everyone
"How bout the big park we always go to?" Rye asked
"Yeah!"
"Let's go!"
"Perfect place to start!"
"Okay, park it is!" Mike said and we were on our way once more.
The day went by pretty smooth, I mean aside from me Almost falling in a lake... Again. We went to the park, to the mall, some top secret places me and the boys hang out, even the mountains where we have the perfect view of the Hollywood sign! After a long adventure filled day we all came back to the flat and rested for a bit.
"Thanks for today guys. I had loads of fun!" Cass said to us
"Aw, well your welcome, we had fun too!" Andy said
"But after that work out I feel so gross, would you mind if I took a quick shower?" She asked
"Oh no go ahead! Make yourself at home!" Mikey said
"Okay thanks!"she said and she got some stuff from her bag and then left the room. About two minuets in Andy spoke "So, what do you all think of her?"
"She's cool" Mikey said
"I like her, she's nice" Jack responded
"She's pretty chill" rye answered
"I think she's really cool, sweet, kind, funny..." I started
"Someone has a crush..." Andy teased
"I don't know what your talking about!" I said in defense
"You totally do bro, did you see the way you were at breakfast?" Mikey said
"Yeah you were basically drooling over her!" Rye added
"Not to mention you getting jealous of the waiter" Jack said
"Guys I do not have a crush on her!" I wined
"That's a shame... Because she's totally into you..." Rye said and my heart skipped a beat
"Wait really?!" I said way too excited
"Yup... Totally one hundred percent likes her!" Andy said and I sighed
"No one say anything!" I said accepting the fact that it's true, I do sort of like her.
"We got you" rye said
"Oh god..." Was all I said knowing the boys were going to try to get us together...
After about fifteen minuets or so cass comes back into the room. She sits on the couch next to me.
For a while everyone's on their phones quiet.
"So uh, tomorrow I have a meeting with a real estate agent, about an apartment" cass made everyone look up from their phone
"Really where?" Rye asked
"Actually it's the apartment across the hall" she said
"That's cool, you'll still be close" Mikey responded
"Yeah, that's if I get it" she answered
"Why wouldn't you?" I ask her
"Well, for one, I don't have a job yet, and I don't know when I will get one, and I need to see how much it is monthly" she explained
"If you need it we can lend you some money" Andy said
"No, you guys don't have to!" She argued like always.
"But we will if you need it. That's what friends are for!" Jack answered her. She sighed in response.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Nothing, I'm just not used to having people be there for me and all" she answered and her voice cracked
"Well we're always here when ever you need it!" Andy said
"Yeah!" Rye added
She just smiled. I can't believe Someone could be this broken, seeing her like this makes me just want to hug her and never let go! It's so heart breaking.
"Thanks guys! It really means a lot to me" she said happy
I love seeing her happy, it makes me happy.
"So what now?" She asks
"How about a movie?" Andy suggests
"Okay did you have any in mind?" She asked looking up at him
"How about something scary?" Mikey said
"Yeah! Yeah! Like paranormal activity!" Jack suggests
I knew exactly what they were doing....
"Sounds great!" She said and all the boys smiled
"I'll go grab snacks"I said heading to the kitchen
"Let me help you!" Cass followed me
We throw a bag of popcorn in the microwave, grab bags of chips and pretzels.
"Do you like scary movies?" I asked her
"Only when I'm not watching them alone and I have someone I can cuddle with if I get scared" she answered and I smiled to myself.
This is my chance. We walk back into the room with all the snacks. Jack took the pretzels. Rye took the potato chips. Andy didn't want anything,  Mikey took the Pringles. And me and Cass shared the popcorn. All the boys were on their bed and Cass and I were sitting on the couch. I covered us both up in a blanket and Rye started the movie. About fifteen minuets or so in Cass was right next to me my arm around her. She was scared out of her mind. So was I but I didn't show it. Occasionally you could hear one of the boys get scared and say "shit" or "holy crap"  or something along those lines. I jumped a few times myself. I could see Andy and Rye looking at me and Cass every now and again. It was a not so scary part of the film and we were out of popcorn.
"I'm gonna go make more popcorn, okay?" I told Cass
She looked up to me "don't leave me" she said scared
"Okay, I won't" I answer and i put the bowl on the table.
Not too long after the movie ended and all of us boys were still wide awake.
"That wasn't that bad" Jack said
"Don't lie, you wet so scared" Andy said to Jack
"You all were!" I added
"You were too! Don't think I didn't see you jump every now and again" Cass answers and we all laughed
"Yeah well you were terrified!" I said smiling at her
"So?" She smiled then we hear the front door open.
Blair! Blair comes into the room and sees Cass and sighs.
"Boys can I see you out in the staircase" he said and we all got up
