The doorbell rang downstairs so Trey went to answer it while Demi continued watching the show. She had just talked to Eddie last night while she was at the ER and he hadn't said anything about Dianna having a TV interview. Maybe it was because he was more worried about the fact that she was sitting in a hospital room because she couldn't breathe but some kind of warning would've been nice.

"I just want to get right into it. So, what made you write the book?" Wendy asked.

Dianna had her ginger hair straight as she normally did, and she was in a practical pair of pants with a nice blouse. Demi was still annoyed though. She had a whole team and no one could tell her that Dianna was going to be on TV talking about her book, and therefore talking about their situation?

"I wrote the book because it's been almost ten years since everything went wrong between Demi and I, and it was just therapeutic for me. Obviously as her mother, not having a relationship with her has been very hard for me and very devastating as well because I love her so much. Despite everything that has happened between us I still love her with all of my heart and I just needed closure. So, that's why I wrote the book."

"Demi is kind of private in a sense where she doesn't talk that much about her personal life in interviews. She doesn't talk about her boyfriend, or the situation with you, or anything else like that. Do you know what her reaction has been to this book?"

"No, I don't. As I said before and as I have mentioned in the book, our relationship is nonexistent. She still comes over to the house sometimes to see her sister and her dad and she'll talk to them but when I'm there, it's like I don't exist to her. She hasn't spoken a word to me in years so, you know, I can't be worried about her reaction. This book isn't for her. It really was just a healing thing for me."

How could she not be worried about her reaction when the whole concept of the book was about her? If she wasn't so sick, Demi would totally drive over there and give Dianna a piece of her mind. Why would she think talking about a situation that had nothing to do with the general public was okay? If Dianna needed healing, she should've gone to therapy.

"Damn, you look like death," Khloe remarked as she entered the room. And so did Kim, Kris, Kendall, and Kylie with Trey behind them. Demi knew that they had to know that bronchitis was contagious so she didn't want to hear any complaints when they were all as sick as she was.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"We came to keep you company, hence the outfits." Instead of their usual designer attire, they were wearing the matching pajamas that Kris had gotten for them last Christmas, the plaid two piece sets that had their names bedazzled on the back.

"I have to go make some phone calls then I'll be back up. Text me if you need anything," Trey said as he kissed her forehead before leaving the room, so the four of them made themselves comfortable on the bed as Kris tried to clean the room up a little bit.

"What are we watching?"

"Satan give an interview," Demi mumbled before turning the TV up a little louder.

"In the book, you kind of talk about what you think caused all of this and you know, people do have some ideas as to why Demi would want to be emancipated from you and kind of distance herself from you because of how she was raised. I mean, you talked about how when she was seven years old, she got second place in a pageant and you didn't talk to her for three days. That is insane. Like that is, crazy dance moms stuff. But explain why you think Demi decided to take the path of legal emancipation."

"People can speculate and they can say whatever they want about my parenting or whatever but at the end of the day, when Demi decided to legally emancipate herself, she was a child. She didn't know anything. And I really do believe that if she didn't have certain people in her ear telling her that this was a logical thing to do, then we wouldn't even be in this situation today."

"By people, who do you mean? Is there someone specific?"

"I don't want to say names."

"Dianna, you're already here. How about I guess?"

"Okay, if you guess right I'll tell you."

"Her manager?" Dianna shook her head.

"The record label?" Dianna shook her head again.

"Kris Jenner?" Dianna didn't shake her head but she didn't nod either. She simply shrugged and that's when the audience gasped.

"I'm guessing you don't like the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan even though they did take your daughter in like family? Didn't she even live with them for a bit?"

"I really can't speak on that. All I can say is, that no matter what Demi or anyone else says, I am her mother and I raised her the best that I could. And no one can replace me or take that away from me. No one."

That's when Demi had had enough. She turned the TV off and collapsed against her favorite pillow as Batman ran into the room so Kendall lifted him onto the bed.

"Did you read her book? Because I read it and she didn't mention mom in it like at all. Or any of us."

"No, I didn't read it. I just don't care anymore. I don't even wanna talk about this situation anymore," Demi huffed as she hugged Batman to her chest as he rested his little head in the crook of her neck.

"Well, let's talk about why your ring is on your left finger then," Khloe retorted as Kris sat at the end of the bed. Demi had been planning to tell all of them about her little impromptu wedding but not now. Now, she really just wanted to go to sleep.

"I got married..."

"Are you serious? Shut the fuck up! Are you serious?" Kendall and Kylie exclaimed, Kylie grabbing Demi's left hand as if the ring had changed or something. Trey said he was going to replace it but there was no rush.

"When did this happen?" Kendall questioned as Demi fiddled with her fingers.

"On Trey's birthday. It wasn't planned or anything, it just felt right so we did it," Demi shrugged as Khloe wacked her in the arm.

"Stop! I'm sick!" Demi whined as she weakly punched her back.

"Why didn't you tell us?"

"Because it really was just this random thing. Like I didn't even tell my dad. The only people who were there were Kris and April. We're gonna have a big wedding where everyone is invited but at that time, we just wanted it to be us."

"Mom, you knew?" Kim questioned as Kris shrugged.

"It wasn't my business to tell but yes I knew. Do you guys wanna see some pictures?" Kris said as she unlocked her phone. "The photographer was absolutely amazing."

"I can not believe your hoe ass got married and you didn't tell anyone. Like that is some Kim or Kylie shit. I never thought that you would do that," Khloe joked as Demi chuckled and played with her ring.

"I thought he was joking when he said it but obviously not."

"I know you said you don't wanna talk about it, but are you going to do anything about Dianna?" Kim asked as Demi continued to run her fingers through Batman's soft fur as the dog fell asleep on her.

"As soon as I can breathe on my own, I'm going over there. I don't want to talk to her but I don't appreciate her going on television and telling her side of the story as if it actually matters. If I wanted people to know about our situation, I would write my own damn book. I don't know...I just wanna sleep," Demi pouted as she concentrated on Batman, because if she kept thinking about Dianna and her dumbass book, she would probably go insane.
