Jimin nods. "Yeah, the end of last year."

"Anyway." Taehyung huffs after the interruption. "We were tired, but we were still at it, getting hungry. Jimin left the room for a minute to find some snacks or something and I had to use the bathroom." He pauses to piece together the details of a memory he's worked to forget and they begin crowding his brain again, making him unconsciously wrap his arms around himself. "Ah, yeah. I went down the hallway to go to the bathroom. It was really dark."

"You could've turned on the light." Jimin comments.

"I didn't want to disturb your parents."

Yoongi smirks. "Kind of you."

Taehyung looks up to see Yoongi's eyes on him. Their gazes meet for a second before the older shifts his eyes away. He looks at Hoseok again and frowns. "I saw a ghost."

"God." Jimin groans. "You make it sound so creepy, and saying that it happened in my house," He curls up against Jungkook, who's low laughter is warm in his ear. He feels the heat of the mans arms holding him still ease the tension of his cringe as soon as it starts. "Tae, that's so creepy."

"You were just making fun of me for being scared!" Taehyung raises his voice.

"Yeah, but why did you have to see a ghost in my house?"

"You don't even live there anymore!" Taehyung argues. He feels a hand nudge his arm and he looks to Hoseok again with confusion contorting his expression. He catches the disapproving stare on Hoseok's face and his shoulders sink. "What?"

Hoseok leans forward to whisper lowly into Taehyung's ear. "Don't give that guy anymore information he doesn't need to know." He pulls back, watching the understanding change the others expression again when he motions to Yugyeom's direction with his eyes.

"Oh." Taehyung mutters. "Well okay." He runs a hand through his hair, suddenly feeling a little nervous. "That's what happened. I didn't cry. I just got scared."

"That's it?" Namjoon asks. "You just saw a ghost? That's all we get from that story?"

"Well," Taehyung shrugs. "It looked like a girl ghost. I didn't see a face and it was dark, remember?"

"Are you sure it wasn't Jimin's Mom?" Seokjin laughs. He reaches forward to pat Taehyung lightly on the back. "Maybe it was just your imagination." He changes his attention, placing it next on Hoseok. "Don't be too scared, Hobi." He comments, looking at Hoseok reassuringly.

Hoseok hangs his mouth a bit, feeling kind of offended by the off putting accusation of him being the only one affected by his boyfriends ghost story. "I'm not scared."

"You're not?" Taehyung looks surprised.

Hoseok shakes his head. "I'm not."

Yoongi leans forward in his chair, letting his back turn to Yugyeom as he suddenly feels a little excited. He's not one to much enjoy joining in on their conversations more than need be or participating in meaningless banter. He feels a creeping desire to see Hoseok squirm, to make him feel fear and if Taehyung's story won't do the trick, he can make one up himself. It can't be that hard. "Wait. I have a story."

Puzzled expressions turn to Yoongi's direction. "You do?" Seokjin asks, quizzically

"Yeah. Just listen." Yoongi starts. He leans back in his seat, uncaring of if his body is still visible behind Jungkook and Jimin in the chair in front of him. He laughs, a bit mockingly at how easy it is for him to create such a dark tale on the spot. His voice deepens purposely and he opens his mouth slightly to speak and then the weight of a hand on his shoulder stops him. Yoongi looks up to see him, Yugyeom. When had he stood up without him noticing it?

"I have a better story. A true story." Yugyeom smiles. His pupils are dilated. He glances around the group of others, full attention on his figure behind their friend.

Yoongi can physically feel his blood moving faster in his veins and his adrenaline is picking up faster than he'd like it too, morally of course. His own morals, as impolite as they often tend to be, become obsolete when an unwelcome hand is suddenly placed upon his shoulder. "Did you just touch me?" He spits.

"Hyung." Jimin whines, softly. He reaches to catch Yoongi before the other can stand, but he finds his fingers too slow. "Don't." Too late.
