2) Meanwhile in Chicago

It was 7 a.m. in Chicago and Riley was packing just a few things for a short trip to New Orleans, when she heard a noise from the kitchen. She silently took her gun, checked the magazine and she headed to the kitchen holding the handgun in front of her just like they taught her at theacademy. 

-Wow, put that down-  

The girl with green eyes said, well mostly screamed actually , after she raised her hands to surrender,because that's what you do when someone point a gun at you, and hope they don't shoot you.

-Liv? What the fuck, don't you know how to knock?-

Riley was surprised to see her best friend there, even tho every morning she would pass from her house to pick her up and go together to work. But that morning Riley was on another planet.

-uhm I did, but you didn't hear.What a surprise!-

Olivia said ironically, because yes she knocked just like every morning, but Riley? She never answer, just like with her phone. That's why after a while Liv made her own keys.

-Yeah...that...sorry-

Riley, rolled her eyes and lived her gun on the table, and then she went back to her bedroom to keep packing.

-You know you are not suppose to live your gun loaded where anybody could take it right? -she looked suspicious around her and said-   And what are you doing anyway? We should go to work-

Liv said, leaning her coffee on the table. Then she looked at the gun pretty disgusted,waving her hand like if she could move the gun without touching it.She was never the gun type, unlike Riley, who loves fights and weapons.

-Why you gonna shoot me?-

Riley replied first with a ironicly surprised and scared face and then with a smirk, because she knew how much Liv loved guns. And of course she never loose a chance to do some sarcasm, which is totally hated by Liv, who often hates her too. Olivia answered whit a smirk, one of those "you gotta stop" smirk

-By the way what happened to highschool Olivia, rebel and wiled, "no rules apply to me", bla blabla?-

Riley asked with that annoying sarcasm again, she always thought that people would love to shoot her for that some day, cause if she would meet someone like that she would totally want to shoot that person.

-She grew up, you should try that some time-

And there again the smirk, the two of them are really besties but most of the time they look like cat and dog bitching out at each other

-And by the way I'm packing, I'm going to New Orleans-

Riley said with acompletely  serous tone.

-You going in holiday with...-

she didn't even complete the phrase, she just stopped and get that look a bit confusedand a bit creeped  out, because she knew from what Riley was running from, and she had the feeling she was running right into it again.

- You can't, after everything, if you start traveling the company might find you, Bass might find you,and you do not want to be dragged back into that world-

Now Liv looked absolutely afraid, because they are dangerous and she knew it, just like Riley whom looks like  doesn't really care.

-Oh come on, I've got fake ID, my gun, my training...-

her tone saying training was vague and kinda focus because she expected Liv to understand what she meant.

-Yeah and super-whatever, but still one of you lots of them...and one of her-

This time Liv tone was vague because she was expecting Riley to understand what she meant.

-That isexactly why I have to go... my brother called, things are getting complicated, she is starting to ask questions, and I need to see with my eyes... I need to see Her with my own eyes-

When she said "her", her voice shook and at those last words Olivia understood that there was nothing that she could have said to stop her, so she sighed and hoped for the best.
