Introduction

April's POV

It was mid July. My parents had already started their jobs and my little brother was at day care. And that left me unpacking and taking boxes inside. I was walking inside with a box when I heard someone say hello. I looked up and saw his eyes. It was like a look into heaven. I was so embarrassed because I looked like a train wreck. I was wearing my sweatpants and a pink tank top. And my dirty blond hair was inside a messy bun. I was daydreaming to long and didn't even notice him asking me a question. I looked up at him and he asked " So what brings you to North Carolina?" "Oh... ummm.. my parents got some jobs here and it was getting kind of boring in Virginia." I said. "Well my names Hayes and I'm guessing your like 12 or 13 like me?" he said. "Yah.. oh and My names April" I said with a smile. "Well I have to go but maybe we can meet up at the park tomorrow or maybe later today? he said. "YESS... oh I mean yah sounds cool." I said trying to sound cool and chill. I gave him my number and went inside. I think this is going to be a great year.
