Imperfectly Perfect Love

Once upon a time,

You came into my life.

Your gaze catches mine again,

And I fall under your spell once again.

I remind myself that I can't have you,

The endless nights that consist of me staring blankly out the window,

I am always entranced by you.

You shine brighter than the millions of stars in the night sky.

You beam more than the sun in the sky.

You have greater beauty than all of the wildflowers around the world gathered in a bundle.

But, love, you have a shining light inside of you that makes everything else disappear.
