Impossible (Asano x Reader x Karma)

Chapter 8

Asano's POV:

I was kinda surprised to see her outfit, despite of the weather here at this time.

I was curious, so I pulled her close to myself, and immediately raised her sleeve. I did it hastily so she won't get any time to stop me.

After that my eyes widened due to what I saw in front of me. Her left arm's wrist had deep cuts, so deep...it might have been cut thrice.

I was shattered, 'Is it for me?' I thought to myself. For a moment I couldn't speak up. I let go off of her arm, and looked at her with a frown on my temple.

"What's the meaning of this Y/N!?! Was my confession that hurting!?"

I shouted at her, I couldn't hold my tears, if it was for me...what will I do? I'll be so guilty to harm her.

Suddenly I felt warm palms cupping my cheeks, "NO!....Its not your fault Asano!" she said, definitely worry in her voice.

Reader's POV:

My hands were trembling hearing Asano's words, I felt so guilty that he thought it was because of him.

How can I tell him the reason behind this? What will he think of me? Probably a moron.

My hands, shaking because of mixed emotions, went to cup his cheeks. I tried to assure him that it wasn't his fault. But I could see clearly in his eyes, he was hurt.

I felt so sorry seeing him like that. But why? Why was I feeling like I wanted to hug him tight, and cry till my tears dry up. I want to tell him everything so my heart feels light.

I want to be with him, but my guilt of killing my past love...still haunts me. What if something similar happens to him as well? I won't be able to take that anymore....

Normal POV:

Asano grabbed your hands and swatted them aside. He was kinda irritated by your touch. He was still frowning, so he turned his head to the other side, not wanting to look at you.

"Asano....please... It wasn't your fault. I'm so sorry...don't be mad at me." You pleaded to him. You couldn't bear if he was angry with you.

He turned his eyes towards you, and said, "You've a lot of explanation to do Y/N." He said pointing at your wounded arm. "And I don't want any excuses!" he stated with a stern tone.

He grabbed you by your arms and tagged you along with him. Soon you stood in front of a beautiful mansion. It seemed that it was some monarch's palace.

"Come along with me." Asano said pointing at the entrance gate.

You nodded, realizing that it was his mansion. You walked behind him, while he lead you to his bed room.

"Sit." he said

He was speaking with small words, not wanting to speak much with you.

You sat the end of his bed. The room smelt strong....it was a masculine scent, yet beautiful. You realized its Asano's perfume that he used.

"Now explain what its for." Asano said, causing you to come out of your thoughts. He sat in front of you on a chair, crossing his arms across his chest. His right leg rested atop of the other.

You nodded and gulped. You explained everything to him. Your past, your first love, that accident and the incident that happened the other day, causing you to hurt yourself.

He didn't say a single word you were explaining everything to him. His angry expression seemed to soften, as you go on explaining. Soon his face was filled with sorrow and sympathy for you.

You continued to tell him your story, looking down at the carpeted floor of his room, when you felt strong arms wrapped around you.

You looked up to see Asano pulling you into a tight embrace, as if he wanted to take all your sorrow, everything else that hurted you. You hugged him back this time. Tightly. You buried your face into his shirt, drenching it with your tears.

He let you cry on him. His hand rubbed your back, while other fondled your hair. He places a soft kiss on your head, "Shhh....its okay now..." he whispered to you.

You hugged him tighter than before. You wanted to speak something but you couldn't.

"Shh....its okay Y/N..I'm here for you," he said whispering, "and I'll always be with you....just give me a chance okay? Forget the past..and be with me. I'll keep you happy." he stated, pulling you closer to himself.

Soon you fell asleep on his arms. You dreamt of something, but it was not a nightmare this time. It was sweet dream, a dream full of love and happiness.
