Chapter 41: deja vu.

7:55pm Somewhere in London.

CHAD’S POV

It’s been 3 years since that incident..

That day where hearts are torn, everyone’s in torture. Everyone’s in pain..

Maybe today, most of them already moved on..  except for one.

*knock. Knock..*

As I enter the room I saw her again with her faint smile..

“Karen, it’s time for you to take your medicine..”

“Chad.. My dear Chaddy.. Medicines can’t cure me now. In fact, I don’t need them after all. Can’t you see? I’m better.. wait! I feel great!!.. hehehehe” as she giggles tears are forming in my eyelids.

“karen, you have to take your medicines. If you won’t drink your medicines. Doctors will come and fetch you again do you want that??” she throw me a sharp glare..

“I .. I don’t want the d---doctors to f----fetch me again..” sabi nya habang naka ubob.. then nilapitan ko sya dala yung tray ng gamot, at tubig..

“good girl, now drink your------------“ isusubo ko na sana sa kanya yung isang tablet ng gamot pero tinabig nya ang kamay ko..

“I don’t want the doctors to fetch me again but… I also don’t want to drink my medicine..” sabi nya habang namumuo ang ngiti sa mga labi nya. This only makes the pain I’m feeling worse..

“Karen, wag ka ng makulit.. kelangan mo to para gumaling ka…” triny ko ulit bigyan sya ng gamot pero..

*PLAAAAKKK..*

Tinabig nya na yung mismong tray, kaya nahulog to sa sahig at nabsag yung baso, nagulat ako sa ginawa nya.. no! not again.. karen please stop!

“BAKIT BA KASI ANG KULIT KULIT NYO! NAKAKAINIS NA KAYO! WALA AKONG SAKIT!! KAYO! KAYO ANG MAY SAKIT! PALAGI NYO AKONG PINIPILIT! KAGAYA KA RIN NILA! PINAPATAY MO RIN AKO UNTI-UNTI!!”

Nagsisimula nanaman syang magwala.. pinindot ko na yung emergency button at tumunog yung alarm.. nakita ko ang pagpapanic sa itsura nya.. red light means the nurses are coming..

“ch----chad.. b----bakit??” bakas ang lungkot sa mga mata nya.

“Karen, I don’t want to do this but you forced me..” sabi ko sa kanya.. then bigla syang umiyak..

“ch---chad.. you’re the only one I have.. b---bakit moko tinraydor? Ak---akala ko kaibigan kita..” nkayuko na sya at umiiyak. Lalapitan ko na sana sya ng bigla syang humarap sakin at tumawa..
