You were left sitting cross-legged on a white bed in an impossibly impeccable white room when the glossy white door slid open. The lady who introduced herself as Daisy walked inside. She was also accompanied by a short male with curly brown hair; Fitz, you thought his name was. He had your personal report open on the tablet he was holding, and was flicking through the information.

"I hope you're feeling comfortable,"

"I'm fine, thanks." You said, offering a weak smile.

"I hope you don't mind all... this." She said, gesturing at the immaculate white room. "It's a lot to take in, I know, but this is all-"

"Daisy, take a look at this." Fitz interrupted. Daisy took a moment to examine the tablet that Fitz held in his hands.

"And you're sure?" She asked.

"No, I'm just making all this up. Of course I'm sure." Fitz huffed.

"So she's not... We'll have to talk to Coulson."

"Um, hi. Still here." You piped up.

"Oh, sorry it's just... Um, you know what, why don't you just take it easy. You've been through a lot these past few days." Daisy said as she turned to leave.

"Why? My vitals are fine. No signs of physical trauma or permanent psychological damage, and coping relatively well with the loss of a loved one and sudden relocation to an unfamiliar environment. I mean, periods of silence and emotional breakdowns are a thing, but I guess that's to be expected. Other than that, I'm good to go. And as a bonus, I'm apparently NOT carrying any inhuman genes... Whatever that means." You surprised yourself with that entire response. It was a weird feeling; suddenly knowing so much about yourself. Nobody had told you any of that information, so why were you so sure it was true?

"How did you know that?" Fitz asked you, apparently as gobsmacked as you were.

"I... I don't know." You answered truthfully.

Daisy turned slowly from the doorway. "Did anyone tell you that information?" She quizzically narrowed her eyes at you.

"No, I swear no-one's told me anything."

"We should let Simmons know. Get her to-" Daisy started.

"Wait." Fitz cut her off for the second time, "I've got a theory." He turned towards you, his passion for problem-solving suddenly ignited. "This might be a little crazy, but I want you to do something for me." You nodded slowly. "I need you to try and turn off this tablet from where you are." He continued.

"What? Is there a trick? That's impossible." You objected.

"No trick. Just try it."

He looked at you expectantly. You weren't sure if he was joking or not. Maybe this was all some sort of cruel trick? You looked at Daisy for confirmation. She nodded. Finally, you made yourself more comfortable on the bed and breathed deeply.

You shut your eyes and tried to reach out with your mind. After a short period of nothingness, you sensed a jumble of zeroes and ones. The muddled code slowly turned into letters, then turned into words, then turned into commands. You sorted through those commands, and once you found the one you were looking for, you focused on it; tried to make it happen.

"Oh my god." Fitz breathed, his eyes stubbornly trained on the tablet.

"What is it?" Daisy asked,

He flipped the tablet over to reveal a word document open. The words 'Hello, Fitz ;)' were written across the document in a large font. Both Daisy and Fitz looked at you in awe. You smiled right back at them, proud of your achievement.

Daisy took hold of the tablet to see for herself, "Yeah, we definitely need to tell Coulson."
