There's nothing outstanding about Destiny Palmer for the world to see, well she can always show her pet goldfish, but definitely not her scars. She is a scarred and broken soul, all dead inside, detesting any known guy with the recklessness of breaking girls' hearts.

A story of a broken girl hoping for a love that is unconditional and real, even though that shit's rare nowadays. Her heart only longs for someone who can look past her impairments, accept her, fix her, and most importantly, cherish her.

Blake is the type of guy she tries so hard to avoid. She wants nothing to do with him, ever, not when he happens to be an atrocious heartbreaker himself. For all she knows, the name Blake Austin spells out trouble, and that he's only going to give her an aching heart.

If only she realizes that the guy, whom she treats like a disease that must be prevented, and is the cause of many heartbreaks...
