Emma's P.O.V

BANG

"SHIT" I yell as my car breaks down and stops moving, I huff as I hope out and open the bonnet and smoke rose from it, with a sigh I grab my stuff and start to walk home it was a long walk but I would brave it. I was tempted to call Damon and have him look at my car but I didn't want to bother him with my little problem. I heard shuffling in the shadows so I suck up all my fear and head over to see what was going on and i wish I hadn't, there stood a man with a gun trained on the girl bellow him and she was screaming for help I gasp and the man turns to face me the girl screamed for me to get help and the man had surged forward to attack me but i ran and ran until I ran into something or should I say someone

"Emma what are you doing at this time of night" His blue eyes search mine

"Girl on floor man with gun over there" I gasp out as I catch my breath

"Stay here" I nod and he walks to were I pointed and the man had tried to attack him but failed miserably and was now dead and Damon had compelled the girl to forget everything then walked back to me

"Why were you walking around at night you know its not safe" Damon stares at me with those sexy get lost in blue eyes

"EMMA" He growls

"My car broke down" I say

"Why didn't you call me then" He grabs me arm and drags me to his car and shoves me into the passenger side then gets in the drivers side and drives off

"Because I didn't want to bother you ok" I admit, he chokes on his spit and slams on the brakes

"You think your a bother" He stares at me

"Yes, people always think I'm a bother" I say looking away but he grabs my chin and forces me to look at him

"Your not a bother Emma, in fact I like your company best. You don't brag not a bitch, you hate lying and you put everyone before yourself" He smiles at me not the famous Damon Salvatore but an actual smile

"You can smile" I point out and it only got wider

"Only for you Emmy only for you" He starts to drive again and about 10 minutes later we were at my apartment complex and he was walking me to my door and when I leave the door open he just stands there

"Umm Emma as much as I like it out here i would like to come in" I laugh nervously and invite him in

" So you didn't need to walk me to my door" I say looking at him and there was something in his eyes...love maybe

"I wanted to plus I wanted to do something" He walks toward me while I'm backing up till my back hit a wall and he was right in front of me and his hands rest on either side of my face and leans in until our noses where touching and his hot breath fans over my face, his eyes flicker from my lips to my eyes then back to my lips before sighing then he rests his forehead on mine

" what are you doing to me Emma, I didn't even feel this way with Elena i don't know what to do" He says looking down at me

"I do" He looked at me confused before I leant up and pressed my lips to his and it was like fireworks went off and his arms circled my waist and he lifted me up so my legs wrapped around his waist as he walked you to your bedroom

After he had fallen asleep I just laid there watching him with a small smile on my face

"Its rude to stare you know" Damon opens his eyes and smiles

"I'm not staring I'm admiring "He laughs and leans over to kiss me

" Well i guess that is different" He says

'What does this mean" I ask hoping it meant what i thought

" What do you want it to be" He looks at you

"I want us to work Damon but i cant help but think that you will go running back to Elena" I say

"Elena chose to go with Elijah and she knew I wouldn't go after her when she left so im not going back to her I want you and only you" He rolls on top of me with a smirk

" And I'm going to prove it" And that he did over and over again
