"You don't have to be like that, baby." Jimin shuffles closer to Jungkook and presses his leg against the others. "It's already been hard on you, too. All of this really sucks and it's a lot to deal with, but," He laughs softly to try and lift the gloomy atmosphere a bit between them. "Bunny, I don't want you to change how you are, I guess. It's hard to think about the aftermath of that kind of thing for me, but I'm probably being selfish."

"How are you being selfish? You've been so good to me about all of this."

Jimin slowly shakes his head. "No. I've been selfish the whole time. I've been trying to maintain this whole maturity thing, trying to convince you to ignore all of it and not fight with you about it for myself. Because, I don't want to make you run away from me if I go crazy over it. I can go crazy over it, I can be angry and yell at you and I want to be like that. That would be so much easier than trying to pretend like I don't care."

"You're not good at pretending like you don't care. I know you're angry."

"I said I was trying."

"Oh." Jungkook bites his lip. "You can be angry, I'm angry. You can yell at me. It might even make me feel better."

"Why would that make you feel better? You didn't do anything wrong, baby."

"I don't like it when you act like something is okay when it's not. Mochi, that's fake. I want the real you, because that's who I love."

"But the real me wants to hit things, too. The real me hates everything about this and I wish I didn't feel this way anymore."

Jungkook sighs. "I relate to the real you way more than your fake alter ego."

"You want me to be insane?"

"It's not insane. You get why I want to hit him, right? Do you think that's insane?"

Jimin moves away from Jungkook to lean back on his hands. He lets his head fall back. "I never thought it was. I get it, I just feel like if you do, he'll come back with a vengeance or something. He's insane, not us."

"I never thought about it like that."

"Yeah. I think about it a lot. I always think about what stunt he's going to pull next."

"I guess I don't think about that kind of stuff much."

"What if he makes you feel bad for hurting him?"

Jungkook looks beside him at Jimin, his expression puzzled now. "What do you mean?"

"What if you feel guilty afterwards?"

"Why would I ever feel guilty for that?"

"Human decency?"

"Yeah right. Mochi, I don't have patience for that, not with him. He's already done enough to deserve a good punch to his face. I won't feel bad for putting him in his place."

"Ever?"

"Nope. Not ever."

Jimin sits back up, folding his hands into his lap. "Why not?"

"Because he's making you sad."

"So, you're going to fight anybody that makes me sad? Is that what you're saying?"

Jungkook feels a smile pull at his lips. He can already tell that as long as Jimin is a part of his life, he'll never get a rest from the boys endless nagging. His never ending questions will drive him crazy. It's Jimin's personality, but he loves it because it makes up who Jimin is. It's a part of the one person he can't be without. "Pretty much, love. Keep boyfriend happy, erase all parasites."

Jimin holds back a laugh that tries to come out suddenly. He clears his throat. "You're stupid. Stop."

"I'm just being honest. That's my life goal."

"To make me happy by fighting off my enemies?"

"Precisely."

"Fine. Live your life like that."

Jungkook smirks. "Are you giving me permission to throw hands?"

"Don't say it like that." Jimin groans. He shakes his head as if he thinks it's ridiculous, but his heart is soft. Jungkook's words are sincere, even if they're silly.

"But, are you? Will it make you sad if I teach that idiot a lesson?"

"Just," Jimin rolls his eyes. "Finish your sand castle. Shut up, baby."
