Time goes on,for me it went to quickly. I never forgot that conversation I had with shades my shadow gaurdian it was reassuring to know that I always had someone to watch my back, it was nice we talked well like I said I did most of the talking he listened and when I needed him he was always there for me even when I took it just a bit too far. It was Saturday one day I was quietly reading a book when brutus came up to me and took my book. Now remember I'm in an orphanage it takes alot to get a book especially if your quiet and shy like me but I managed enough to keep my love of reading alive. He took my book from me and held it high above my head just out of my reach were I couldn't get it "give it back!" I screamed at him loudly " give it back brutus!" I screamed even louder brutus not wanting to be yelled at by someone like me got directly in my face and said "or what?" Or what? The question swirled in my head repeating itself over and over again until I finally had an answer for him "OR THIS!!" I shouted loudly has I pushed at the air in front of me the shadows reacted to my emotions they flung brutus back against the wall knocking him out. "Your learning fast little prince" I heard shades whisper softly in my ear "your powers are progressing faster then I would have imagined" "what powers?" I ask feeling my energy draining fast "sleep now my prince all will be answered soon enough" I heard shades say had I slowly closed my eyes and passed out hard on the floor.
