Ok so i made my first friend did i mention i was like nine when that happened? No? well I probably should have. Also right now im twelve i had many talks with my new friend he was very mysterious never told me alot about himself so i din't ask see growing up in an orphanage i had to learn to ya know survive in the streets. which wasn't easy like i said i'm not the biggest kid so i had to learn to be fast think on my feet i never had anyone to help me out so i learned it myself. The shadows always helped me though like i said whenever i needed them the shadows could always help me get out of a sticky situation with Brutus. Who is Brutus you ask? well thats an easy question Beef head Brutus was the orphanage bully mostly my bully he hated me i hated him to but i was also scared of him. Lets just say brutus made my life living Hell. that was till i actually went there. but again more on that later right i should probably explain about my new found friend. you see the shadows or has i call him shady (get it cause he's shadows and also very mysterious HA! im hilarious) well i never asked many questions about him but when i talked i knew he was listening and yes i know he doesn't have ears or a face but give me a brake. he said he wanted to know everything about my life and told me that he would listen to every word i said.

''what about you?'' i asked ''whats your name? were do you live? in fact what even are you?''i said quite rudely cause the question never came to mind till just now he didnt reply for a few minutes so i thought he had left until i heard him say

''think of me has your gaurdian,but mostly think of me has your friend''he said it quite sadly so i thought i had hurt his feelings

''i'm sorry'' i said holding my head down ''i didn't-''

''no no child its ok don't worry '' he said suthingly ''i knew one day you would ask questions but if only they were the right ones''

''what do you mean'' i asked

''I mean young prince the question you should be asking is who are you?''shocked 'i wonder why he called me prince' i thought to myself

''who am i?'' i asked he then said  ''A warrior thats what'' a what? a warrior? I  don't feel like a warrior

''What do you mean?'' i asked

''I'm sorry i have said to much already young one for now sleep i shall watch you through the night'' he said i hadn't noticed how late it was or how tired i was so i layed down in my corner and go to sleep
