"Wow you sure love cake a lot," you said as he took the biggest bite. He just grinned cutely and continued stuffing his face.

He looked so comfortable at home not worrying about his career and finally having some time to rest and that warmed your heart.

An evil plan came through your mind as you stared at the frosting on the cake. Grabbing a chunk on your finger, you slapped it on the tip of his nose and couldn't help but crack up at his reaction.

"Hey!" He attempted to wipe it off angrily but just ended up making it worse which caused you to continue dying laughing.

"Oh you think it's funny huh?"

"I do," you said through uncontrollable laughter as you reacted quickly when he tried to get back at you but missed since you quickly stood up and ran.

He had grabbed a huge chunk of frosting now and ran towards you as you quickly ran towards the kitchen and hid behind his mom who appeared confused then laughed with you when she saw Jaebum's face.

"You're really using my own mother as a shield," he chuckled. "You're cruel."

You whispered an apology to his mother who just laughed and didn't seem to mind.

"Okay I'll let you get even," you surrendered finally. "I barely put any on your face so it's only fair that you do the s-" before you could finish he had already smeared almost your whole entire face in the large amount of frosting he had grabbed and threw his head back in laughter. Even though you wanted to be mad, seeing him laugh like that for the first time, it was nearly impossible to get mad at him so you just laughed with him instead.

"I deserved that," you said as he continued to laugh with you.

"You two are so silly," his mom laughed along. "There is a clean towel in the bathroom."

You followed Jaebum to the bathroom as he still continued laughing quietly then looked at himself in the mirror. "Damn I guess I went a bit overboard with yours huh?"

"You think," your whole face was covered and you stared at yourself in the mirror surprised. You looked like a mess.

He grabbed the towel and came a bit too close to you. "Close your eyes," he instructed as he gently wiped away the frosting too close to your eyes with the towel. Your breath hitched in your throat as his other hand moved your chin up as he continued wiping and you could feel his warm breath against your face.

"Is it true that you've never been in love?" you asked as your eyes remained closed.

The towel on your face stopped moving due to his surprise with the sudden question you had thrown at him.

You opened your eyes and came face to face with his dark brown ones. He looked at you a bit confused at how you had known something like that and you noticed how realization came over his expression.

"Damn my mom just spilled all my secrets huh?" he sighed jokingly.

"It's okay it's nothing to be embarrassed about," you reassured and grabbed the towel and helped wipe the frosting off his face.

"What about you? Have you ever been in love?"

"Nope..." you simply said and continued wiping his face.
