    "You're probably wondering why I invited you here," she smiled and grabbed your hand. "Being put into all these publicity stunts must not be the nicest thing, I'm sorry. I just wanted to invite you for dinner as a thank you for doing this and tolerating my son, he can be a bit difficult to deal with sometimes," she said and you both laughed.

   "Hey, I'm right here," Jaebum announced but she just waved him off.

   "You really don't have to thank me..."

  "I know, but I also really just wanted to meet you because you seem like a great girl."

  You smiled and nodded, "I'm very happy to meet you too."

   You were really happy to be here. You felt so welcomed by his kind mother and she was so loving and sweet.

"I hope you like Korean food because I am cooking many traditional meals that I hope you enjoy."

"Oh I love Korean food!" you said a bit too excitedly and she smiled and stood up and headed to the kitchen to check the food on the stove.

You were now left alone with Jaebum who sat on the other couch staring blankly at you as he took a sip of his water.

"What?" you asked with a furrowed brow.

"Nothing," he casually looked away and didn't say anything else.

Before you could question him any further his mom returned. "You know, Jaebum never brings any girls home, and I know this relationship isn't real but I think you two would make a lovely couple," she said with a bright smile and sat back down next to you.

"Mom don't raise her hopes up," he mocked and you looked at him with a surprised expression.

"Don't flatter yourself please," you spit a smart remark right after without thinking.

"Look at you too, already arguing like a married couple," she laughed which caused you to look down at your lap shyly. Jaebum didn't say anything back just changed the subject.

"Where is dad?"

"He's working but will be home shortly," she explained and tapped your hand, "Would you like to help me set up the table?"

"Of course."

You followed her to the kitchen that was also much bigger than any other ones you've seen. You were met with the aroma of delicious foods filling your nose and couldn't help but sigh happily.

"Does Jaebum treat you nicely?" she asked with a whisper.

You paused before saying anything because you weren't sure how to respond and she noticed the way you hesitated and chuckled. "I'll take that as a 'no'."

"It's not that. . . he's a nice guy I can tell that, but this whole stunt is a it difficult for the both of us so I don't expect him to treat me like a princess especially since I'm not his real girlfriend," you explained and she nodded understandingly.

"He's never had a true relationship or been in love before so it's a bit hard for him to know how to rightfully treat a woman," she said and you were taken back.
