You had wished you'd brought your earphones as well since the ride was going to be pretty long. You stared at the space between you and sighed quietly. Why was it so difficult to get along with this person?

Minutes later he leaned his head back against the headrest and closed his eyes. You couldn't help but just look at him. The faint music coming from his earphones made you want to try and listen too but it was nearly unidentifiable.

You couldn't help but move closer to the middle of the seat as you tried to lean a bit forward to listen too. You were bored and music was always the best for moments like this. You could have just asked the driver to turn on the radio but you didn't want to bother him.

Jaebum's eyes remained closed and he hadn't seemed to notice as you slightly leaned your ear near his.

The music was a song you hadn't heard before but it was soothing and beautiful and you couldn't help but close your eyes and allow the rhythm to consume you.

You felt as something touched your ear and suddenly the music had become clearer and louder. Your eyes opened to see that the earphone was now placed in your ear. Turning towards him, you saw his eyes were still closed and all you could do was smile at the subtle kindness.

   You hadn't realized that you were slowly drifting into sleep until you were woken by a light tap on your arm.

   Opening your eyes slowly you began to realize that your head was leaning on his shoulder and you quickly stood up straight and coughed slightly.

   "Sorry," you apologized shyly and attempted to fix your hair and straighten everything as you noticed you had arrived.

   You got out of the car and looked at the cute home. It was a pretty good sized home compared to a lot of small apartments you've seen all over Seoul. His mother, a petite woman, ran over and gave her son a big hug which he happily returned and you couldn't help but smile. This was the first time you've seen this side of him and it was refreshing and beautiful.

   She looked over to you and smiled. "Ah you must be Y/N, you're indeed a very beautiful girl," she said with a wide smile and came over to give you a hug. It was nice and warm and you thought of how much you missed your family in that moment and hugged her back. 

   "Come in come in before reporters show up!" she directed you into her home and you followed. Jaebum had his arm around her the whole time and you felt warm inside seeing this loving side of him.

   "You have a lovely home," you said as you entered the cozy living room.

   "Thank you," she smiled and lead you to the comfy couch. "Make yourself at home. I will get you both something to drink. The drive here must of been tiring." She headed to the kitchen and Jaebum followed.

   As you were about to sit down the family photos hanging on the walls caught your attention and you walked over and looked at them. You grabbed a baby picture frame of Jaebum and chuckled to yourself at how adorable he was.

    "Wasn't he the cutest baby?" his mom asked as she returned with drinks.

   "Yes he was," you laughed.

   Not long after, the frame was snatched from your hand and you were met with a slightly angry Jaebum but all you did was chuckle up at him and head over to the couch to sit, his mother sitting next to you.
