chapter 9 / home sweet home

alex's p.o.v.

We only had a hour left till we reached hayley's house and we switched driving about a hour ago since I barely had any energy or sleep the radio softly hummed a song i couldn't identify because I was admiring every move she made between her watching the cars around her and lightly lip syncing the songs that played i admired how beautiful she was even if her hair was pulled up and her makeup was off she must have felt me staring because she looked at me with my seat pulled back and using a jacket for a blanket 

"Alex arent you supposed to be trying to sleep" she chuckled and flipped the turning light on  

i felt my face burn with blush 

"yea but im excited" i muttered under my breath which only earned another chuckle from hayley and her running her hand threw my messy hair 

"i know and i am to but it wont be any fun when youve not slept babe you've had a rough day just rest for me " 

i looked up at her puppy eyes expression 

"fine" i agreed while closing my eyes 

and before i knew it i was out 

~~time skip~~

i woke up to hayley shaking me with the passenger side open her face was lit up with excitement and i knew it was contagious but i was to tired to catch it i stumbled out of the car to see hayley yanking a suitcase out 

"Hayley i can get that" 

but it was no use she had the suitcase and was running up the walkway to the front door unlocking it and running in i grabbed the other suitcase and walked up to the wide open door pulling the suitcase in to her house she popped from out a corner and ran to me pulling me into a tight hug 

"im so excited for this" she practically squealed 

"your house is beautiful hayles" i muttered in awe looking around 

"well" she pulled away and looked in my eyes "its technically yours now too"

i smiled and kissed her passionately holding her close to me for a couple seconds before she pulled away and smiled 

"here let me show you around" she said and grabbed my hand guided me through the house afterwards we grabbed my suitcases and pulled them to the bedroom and started arranging everything hayley's was being dropped off by the bus tomorrow we went back to my car and got any last thing we could've missed i grabbed my purse and looked at hayley who was holding the poster i yanked before leaving with a smirk on her face i felt my face burn again  

"i dont know why i packed that i-i" I stuttered at my embarrassment for the impulse decision and went to grab the poster from her which she wasnt buying 

"well whats this i see" she laughed while walking backwards to the house 

"what"

"Is this lipgloss on my face" she laughed and rolled the poster up clearly joking about the lipgloss 

"im gonna get you " i laughed walking toward her 

"gotta catch me first!" she yelled running into the house with the poster i chased after her her laugh echoing through the house i ran up the steps catching my breath before quietly creeping around the guest bedroom door where i was caught off guard by hayley kissing me and laughing her breathing was uneasy from running 

"i dont think so" i said picking her up bridal style and carrying her to the bedroom and tickling her on the bed she still had a tight grip on the poster

"Stop alex!" she fought threw her fits of laughter squirming around 

"hand the poster over!" i laughed back 

after a couple seconds she let go of the poster still laughing i set the rolled up poster against the wall and laid down beside her it was quiet for a couple seconds 

"you know" hayley started i looked at her face where i could see slight nervousness in her

"i know what" i looked at her with a smile she turned towards me and looked in my eyes like she always did like she was searching for something before setting her head on my shouldher and pulling closer

"you know I love you right?" she questioned i felt my heart melt 

"of course. You know I love you right" i responded back 

i saw her smile 

"yea i just dont want you...or anyone else to think were moving to fast " she muttered 

"hayley look at me" in which she met my gaze again with her forest eyes 

"One thing ive realized is as long as you and me are happy it dosent matter you know that right"

her face molded in a smile

"yea you're right" 

it was silent some more 

"how about we get in our comfy clothes and watch t.v and eat ice cream" i suggested 

she agreed and stood up pulling me up too we got in our sweats and cuddled up on the couch with ice cream and put a movie on

"I swear there is nothing you love more then that coconut milk icecream" i chuckled as she basically finsihed off the carton she responded by taking a spoon full looking at me and shoving it in her mouth. i laughed but soon enough i was laying on the couch with her laying on top of me asleep i didnt want to wake her up so i turned off the tv and hugged her focusing on her breathing pattern until it soothed me to sleep

Why hello sorry it was only in alexs p.o.v and that this chapter is kinda short compared to the others i wanted it to be really fluffy and cute since this book hasn't seen a chapter like that but anyways i have 315 reads since the last time i checked and can i just say thank you so much on that you guys shock me so much also if you have any requests of stories just let me know i was thinking about making a hayley imagines book but im not sure but thanks for reading chapter 9 and i hope to see you in chapter 10
