chapter 1/concert

Alex's p.o.v

i walked up to the full length mirror looking at the outfit id been planning for weeks it was simple but it was everything i was 19 almost 20 still living with my mom and dad the youngest of 4 and the only girl and since that's what i am i lived to the person i was expected to be out of mom which included her strictness. Thats why tonight had to perfect because i finally had saved enough for 3rd row paramore tickets. With that being said it was my first concert and to top it off i was going to feel and look like a dweeb since im going alone i admired the old paramore shirt from my early teen years and smoothed out the white jeans i was wearing before sliding on sneakers and brushing one last time through my long hair. i sighed in the mirror before grabbing my bag and practically rushing out of the pint sized room before running into my mother who was beginning dinner in the kitchen. 

"hey momma im heading out ill text you when im heading back" i couldnt help but smile but my mother disagreed she just sighed annoyingly under her breath while she was stirring at whatever was waiting in the pan

"Alexandria i dont really think this is a wise idea" she muttered as she stirred with more anger she was dressed up head to toe her brown highlighted hair curled her makeup perfected and it drove me nuts. she drove me nuts but i had to love her 

"momma i saved all this money and held off on getting out of your hair for this... im an adult now ill be fine" i reassuringly said before turning around and walked to the steps that lead me to the door my fingers barley touched before

" if only you could behave like your brothers and have respect for me" 

i turned my head back to see her shaking hers while still beating the shit out of whatever she had in the pan with a spatula 

"goodbye mother" 

after i closed the door i practically ran to my car and started it plugged my phone in and i was off just feeling the music and soaking in the hour drive to the arena where id see the band ive adored since i was 14 and live the night ive dreamed since i was that young too

hayley's p.o.v

there was only a hour and a half till the show and i was pumped after doing my makeup and getting dressed i practically couldn't hold off anymore i started voice warm ups in the dressing rooms and was loud enough to get attention 

"hayley i can hear you all the way down the hall" knocked a smiling taylor york that had the only affect to make me smile even more 

" im sorry im just pumped we've had two great shows to kick off it does nothing but excite me" i said before throwing myself back on the couch and chuckled at it i shot back up to see taylor still there 

"are they piling in yet" i said before pushing past him and walking to the narrowed hall the led back stage where the sides were exposed to show a half empty arena that made me more excited. and every time i was happy i soaked it up because it was slowly making its way back and that of course made me more energized. i went back to my dressing room and decided to make myself chill a little before i tired myself out

Alex's p.o.v again

the energy from walking into the arena was amazing even though it was crowded it was relieving and new since i've never did this before i waited to get a t shirt and poster before making my way to my seat when i reached my way i felt my stomach drop and fill with butterflies by how close i was it didn't matter i was in between strangers i would be able to see everything so close distracted in my thoughts and adrenaline the lights dropped and the crowd roared as the lights beamed on the stage and with a flash 

"for all i know the best is over and the worst is yet to come"

i felt my body freeze for a moment before i shook myself out of it and began to realize the moment i was in watching Hayley hold the microphone and sing with a smile catching eye contact with Taylor and zac every few seconds. i didn't even take photos or videos i just sang and chanted along dancing to the music and i could swear she made eye contact a couple times but i was too lost to notice i just adored the way she would take breaks to chat quick before easing into the next song but its when they started misery business that i got excited because they always pull someone from the crowd and it was one on the many reasons i adored them and i wanted to see the excitement of the fan chosen 

"okay guys so many of you know we need help with this one" hayley said softly catching her breath as she spoke into the microphone

"so im gonna look into the crowd and find someone" she breathed again with a huge smile forming she gets on the box at all there shows and stands looking both sides before sitting still looking before she stares straight ahead and i felt her eyes lock mine before a smile breaks from her and her finger is pointing dead at me

"you! im assuming you know the words ive been watching you all night!" she said before bouncing back off the box and on to the stage pushing past the row while fan said things to me i couldn't make out  till i met a security guard who escorted me on the stage where the was a sudden hug from a slightly shorter blonde that when i peaked past i saw zac and taylor talking and kinda snickering was this really happening? 

"hello beauty! what is your name?" hayley said while handing me the misery business microphone 

"alex" i shockingly whispered into the microphone because i thought id just go up there and freeze   

"okay alex are you ready 1..2..3" she counted off as i began to poorly sing the rest of the song i didnt feel her eyes move but she did help me on the box and back down and before i knew it the song finished and the crowd roared 

"i cant believe i just did that" i hugged hayley one more time it felt longer than before nut i was just trying not to cry... of happiness thats when i saw taylor on my way out who i hugged also and felt something craw into my back pocket i dare touched it till i left because i had no idea what it was

why hello again! im sorry i feel beginning stories are always a little awkward and boring but i swear next chapter it will get interesting also a little side note if you see more from Alex's p.o.v its only because shes who i created so i know how she will be vs hayley or any other character who is already a real human being and i dont live in there heads. thank you for reading xxx
