conventions

there is nothing bad i can say
i've been watching videos upon videos for the past three days of just conventions and it has just made me adore them more and more
conventions are such wonderful places
everyone who shares an interest can meet up in this huge place and bond over one thing
and that is their geeky side
everyone has a geeky side (unless you're a basic white bitch) and going to conventions is a way to embrace it, bond with others over it, make new friends, learn new things, and so much more
it makes me so happy to know that places like this exist where anyone sharing a common interest can just throw it in people's faces and bond over it with complete strangers they've never met before
this is how awesome friendships are made tbh
also oh my god i love the community
the cosplay community i mean
everyone is super chill with each other and at cons it's even better because you get to pretty much see your favorite characters come to life and ugh it's just so amazing
i watched like four minutes of a convention video and realized how no matter what age, race, weight, or whatever you are, no one judges you for it and others just embrace you for you
i mean
unless it's one of those stupid nine year olds on musical.ly but obviously they don't go to cons so
uh yeah i think that's the end of that
