"How you doing wifey," Derek asked.
"Iv'e een etter to e honest," I said.
"Maye I should take you out sometime," he said.
"You know you are more than likely have to ask my dad about that," I mentioned.
"I know. He just wants to make sure that you are safe," he said.
"I know he does. Properly even more now since the shooting," I said.

"He just doesn't want the same thing to happen to you as with your mother," he said.

After I said that Derek pulled me in for a hug and squeezed me. Which I always love when he does this. He gives some of best hugs.
"Remember you can talk to me anytime," he said.
"I know. Also thank you," I said as I smiled at him.
"No problem wifey," he said.
As soon as Derek finished giving me the hug he went ack to the living room where my dad and the rest of the team. Whenever I see my dad at his work he is always the est part.
I can't believe that this is happening. With the shooting and then Colby kissing me after waking up from surgery. I still can't believe that actually. I'm glad that my dad came so I was ale to tell him that it happened.
I decided to go into the kitchen to get myself a drink. Since my mouth is getting dry. Once I opened the fridge door I saw that Derek came in. Which is awesome cause he the est. He likes making sure that I'm okay when somebody hurts me.
"What are you doing there wifey," he asked me.
"Getting myself a drink," I said.
"Let me guess you are getting yourself a pop," he said.
"Yeah how did you know," I jokingly said.

"Why not," I asked him.

As soon as he said that he left the kitchen. My dad came in after he left. He looked like he had something to say.
