"Daddy, come play with us!" happily screamed the five year old girl at the music mogul, who was zoned into his work on his laptop.

"Not now, Lily," answered Simon, concentrating on his emails, "I have loads of work to do; I can play with you when I'm done, but for now, how 'bout you play with papa?"

The little girl began to pout, "but... Papa's not here, remember Daddy?" she asked him, her entire mood becoming more and more sad, "he's gone to school to read to other kids,"

Simon looked up from his work. Oh yeah, David was visiting school children today; he was so caught up in all things Syco that he completely forgot about everything his husband was doing. David even invited him to come along, after all Kathleen would be more than happy to spend time with her one and only granddaughter, but Simon declined and said he could watch their daughter while he caught up on a few things for his record label. Clearly, a few things turned into everything, and Simon was now neglecting one of the most important people, one of his greatest blessings to ever come into his life.

Simon turned to the little girl, who was standing before him in a pink and blue costume comprised of a tutu, glittering butterfly wings and a little Disney Princess Aurora tiara placed crookedly on top of her long, sandy brown hair. Her lovely eyes, inherited from a certain handsome and cheeky comedian, were downcast towards her little glittering purple sneakers, clearly sad that no one cared enough to play with her. If he failed to feel guilty before, Simon felt tremendously guilty now.

Simon closed his laptop and knelt down in front of his favorite girl, holding his arms out and open. The little girl looked up in confusion upon noticing movement in front of her. Simon gave her a soft, loving smile, "What game were you playing my little star and sky?"

The little girl unleashed a wide, toothy smile before launching herself into her Daddy's arms.

"Hubby, I'm home!" David announced as camp as ever when he stepped into their household. He fail to hear any noise from within the house. "Huh... that's weird... I wonder where they got off to?" he pondered, making his way further into the seemly abandoned building. As he approached the kitchen, however, he began to hear high pitched screams coming from the back garden. Fearing the worst, David ran as fast as he could to his little treasure, nearly breaking the sliding doors down in an effort to get to her sooner rather than later.

Upon arrival, he saw his daughter sitting with her various toys, surrounding what appeared to be a sleeping Simon, crying softly. Keeping as calm as possible, David slowly approached the two, "Lily... Is everything alright? Did something bad happen to Daddy?"

Lily looked up at her papa, excitement written all over her - completely dry - face. She squealed, "Prince Papa! Thank goodness you've came!" She ran over to the now confused David, pulling him by his hand towards the spot she previously occupied. "Sleeping Beauty has been put to sleep by the evil fairy, and only you can wake him!"

"Is that so?" David asked the child mischievously.

"David...," he heard below him. He turned his attention to - an acting asleep - Simon. "Just play the game right, and don't do any funny business," the business man warned, barely maintaining the act of peaceful slumber.

"Daddy...!" whined Lily, "you're supposed to be sleeping!"

"Sorry, honey,"

David chuckled, now knowing everything was alright. Quickly giving into their daughter's game, he asked her in his most serious, princely tone, "But how am I supposed to wake him up, Lily the good fairy?"

The little girl slipped back into her role, "by kissing him, your highness. Only true love's kiss can break the spell. And you're his true love!"

Dramatic sigh, "Oh, I don't know. Are you sure I would be the true love to the most beautiful man in the land?" David secretly smirked as he spotted the faint blush on his husband's handsome face. 'He still beautiful after all this time,' he thought distractedly.

The little girl nodded enthusiastically, moving more out of the way so David had plenty of room for the dramatic scene in her game. "You love him, Prince Papa, and he loves you, too. Please kiss him so he can wake up and live happily ever after".

David smiled sweetly at the five year old, impressed with her acting skills. He turned back to his husband, feeling the wonderful butterfly sensation he gets every time he shares a kiss with his music man. He drew closer to Simon and knelt over him, aligning his face with that of the other. From the few inches now separating them, he can feel Simon's breaths coming out of him more rapidly than before. This moment clearly feels as exciting to Simon as it does to him, and Simon's still doing exceptionally well at pretending to be sleeping.

Not able to hold himself anymore, David lowered his lips toward's "Sleeping Beauty's", whispering a quiet, but still powerful "I love you," just before their lips locked into a deep and perfect fairytale kiss. The world disappeared around the two men, enjoying the familiarity awesome sensation of electricity and life in the kiss. Simon "awoke" from his eternal slumber, wrapping his arms tightly around the comedian's broad shoulders as David began to lift him into his lap, holding him just as tightly. The kissed lasted a few seconds longer, neither man wanting to let this moment go. It was only the impossibly loud cheering of their child that brought them back into reality, breaking the kiss.

Both men panted, staring intently at each other while in the background Lily shouted towards the heavens that Sleeping Beauty has awaken and the Kingdom can throw a party and celebrate. Lily took off running with some of her toys, dancing here and there around the garden. The men glanced in her direction, making sure she's okay, then back towards each other.

"You know what Simon?" David began, slowly regaining control of his breath, "I haven't felt a kiss like that since -"

"Our wedding day," answered Simon, love and happiness reflecting throughout his face. Happily misty eyed, David smiled warmly at his husband, rubbing his nose affectionately against the others. Both men leaned in and shared a gentle chaste kiss, both smiling uncontrollably.

"I love you, Prince David, my breath and air"

"And I, you, my Beautiful Sleeping Simon,"
