Suddenly he took his hand away and my phone vibrated. I read the caller id Dad❤️.
"It's my dad" I said causing them to nod I picked up the phone
" hello" I said walked around looking at the pictures
"Is everything okay?" Dad asked
"Yeah" I said
"Be honest with me I sense it in your tone" dad said
"Your Mom is awesome you have her smile. And it seems we share a distaste for cinnamon. And your dad is a lot I don't know about what his state of mind is. He grumpy." I said and heard a snicker behind me. I stopped at a picture and I burst out laughing
"Oh.my.god" I said in between breaths
"What?" Dad said I turned out call into a face time and showed him the picture. He was about in his early teens maybe 13. He had a nirvana shirt. Basically a phase we all went through.
" Its just a phase Mom" I teased laughing and on the other line dad was chuckling. I turned the camera back to me.
"I can do this all day" I said looking at the pictures showing him behind him. One day we can both have a roast session together.
" I'm near by to get you" dad said and there was a knock on the door. And he hung up.
"That's him" I said and saw them stiffen a bit. I opened the door and there stood my dad. Then I realized how much I was a daddy's girl. Whatever he's awesome no one tellin me different.
"Alex my baby" I hear Grandma Gabby cried and hugged her son and I saw him cry a bit himself.
"She looks like you." Grandma said
From the corner of my eye I saw Grumpy grandpa get up and turn his back. I wasn't paying attention and dad stared at his dad back. Slowly grandma pushed me into the kitchen with her. But I'm sneaky myself and saw through his eyes. They talked and a bit of yelling and it lowered down. I can tell by the way George look was full of guilt. Next thing I know I see them hugging and I snapped back to where I was.
"Okay sweets we're leaving." Dad said so I got up and I heard them talking about a dinner. We said goodbye and went home.
Seth pov
I kept scrolling through songs I can sing to her. Until I found the perfect one. I started memorizing the lyrics. Suddenly I heard a gasp from behind me. Crap
Slowly I turned around and saw my dad standing there speechless. Fuck my life
"So..." my dad said in the uncomfortable silence between us
"Yeah" I said scratching the back of my neck.
"Pretending I didn't know or seen" My dad said slowly walking backwards. He's not letting this go
"Hey" Leah said coming inside my room without knocking
"Knock before you walk in" I said
"So heard you singing" Leah said
"Dad told you. Damn that was quick" I said with a sigh
"Dad knows?" Leah asked
"Ah, he just found out a few mintues ago" I said
