Friends Again

We left the store and went outside "So we have to begin from here cause I don't gave a car" He said hesitating a little

"Well then let's begin" I was pretty excited finally He was giving me a little attention

"Ok firstly you put your legs across the horse and hold the birdle".
I couldn't climb and He wanted to assist but He hesitated
"Its alright chase you can hold me"
He then lifted me on the horse

"ok hold on tight"

He climb up behind me and held my hands with the reins
"Click" chase said and the horse galloped away

We finally got to the ranch he helped me down
"Well the stables is this way " I said pointing at the direction

"I kinda know" He replied sliently

"Oops my bad I forgot you actually lived here" I said blushing lightly

We headed towards the stables

"Hey Chase, its good to see you,  how's work " Uncle mike asked when He saw us heading towards the stables

  "Am good, work these days is pretty stressful"

"Uncle Mike, is daphnie ready" I asked

"Yea, she already and saddled up"

"Ok thanks" I walked to daphnie pen and stroked her nose

"Well come on girl let's go" I held the reins and lead her out to the field with Chase behind me

"Ok Sally you ready chase" asked me again

"Yes " I replied slowly I was some what scared and afraid daphnie will gall me down

Chase noticed my nervousness

'Its alright Sally, the first round I'll ride with you then you will ride alone the next"
I smiled at his suggestion

"Alright chase."

He helped me up again and sat behind me I couldn't but noticed that He smelt nice like fresh mint
He held me from behind and grabbed the reins I couldn't help but relax into his arms at first He tensed up but later relaxed

"Ok Sally you ready" He asked me snapping me out of my short daydream

"Yes"

"Ok now wrap your hands around mine"

I hesitated a little but did I felt a nice electric shock flow through me making butterflies jump in my stomach.

His hand felt smooth but hard I just wonder if He felt anything too

"Sally don't you thinks its weird when you place your small hands on mine" his breath tickling my ears "why not I hold your hand while you grab the reins"

I gently removed my hands and collected the reins He then held my hands while the butterflies resumed their works

I slightly turned to look at him but his expression was unreadable

"Ok now we are ready, giddiyup" He said and the horse galloped away

"Ok Sally its your turn now to ride alone, I know you can do it" Chase said when we came back from our first ride
When He got down I actually found myself missing his closeness
"Ok am here if anything goes wrong but not that anything will" He said giving me an half smile

I held unto the reins tightly. well here I go I breathed deeply and repeated what Chase did.
The horses started with small trot then entered full speed I was happy am riding

"Chase look at me am riding and am not falling" I screamed in glee I looked over at chase and the smile was still on his lips
"Good job Sally but hold the rein tightly" He warned
I didn't look at where i was going and when I did I was headimg towards a tree I tried stopping the daphnie but daphnie threw me away in suprise  and in a blink of an eye I was on the ground
"Ouch " I yelped in Pains

Chase was by my side in a second
"Sally am sorry I hope you arent hurt badly" He asked concernly
I looked at him and I could feel my cheeks go red as He touched my face checking for any bruise

"Am fine Chase but do you mind helping me up"
He steadied himself and stretched his hands pulling me up  as I tried to stand well a sharp pain sent me back down but Chase was faster carrying me in his arms bridal style
"You see Sally you  have a sprain and can't walk so I have to carry you hope you don't mind"

Why will I mind when his arms feel very comfortable right now
"No I don't and thank you" I replied

Chase carried me to my room and laid me on my bed
"Am sorry Sal..."

"No Chase don't apologize it wasn't your fault"

"But you know I hate when you get you get hurt please be careful"
Chase sat on my bed and He was so close to me his eyes flickerd to my lips and my eyes flew to his lips I leaned in but as our face got closer He  stopped
"Sally it was nice being with you today but I have to go I'll see you tommorow" He said standing up and heading to the door
"Ehm Chase can ask you something " I knew I had to ask him
"Yes"

"Are we still friends"  I asked shyly

"Yes of course , we are good friends" He said smiling at me "now get some rest ".
