Chapter 4

Tony’s PoV:

I walked into the house, quietly. I saw the pause menu of Epic. I glanced down and saw Dimitri and Cassie sleeping peacefully. I smiled slightly. I grabbed a blanket and pulled it over them. I saw Dimitri stir slightly, pulling Cassie closer. I smiled. He really loves her, now I see why he wants to quit. I turned on my heels and walked down the hall, walking to my bedroom. I opened the door, seeing Pepper lying on the bed. I walked over to the bed, taking my shoes off. I took my shirt off and crawled into the bed, putting my arm over her. I closed my eyes, falling to a dreamless sleep.

Clint’s PoV:

I walked down the street with my hands in my pockets, it has been two years since I heard or seen Coulson. I sighed, maybe I should talk to him, maybe straighten things out. I sighed, looking up at the sky, admiring the stars. I felt the summer breeze hit my skin, sending chills down my spine. I walked up to my door and unlocked it. I walked in. I placed my bag next to the door. I took my shoes off and lay on the couch. I turned the TV on. However, I was not really watching it. My thoughts went to Natasha, ever since we broke up it has been nothing but awkward silent. We barely go on missions together because of the awkwardness. I closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep.

Dimitri’s PoV:

“Come on Playboy, get up.” I opened my eyes and Cassie was kneeling in front of me. I groaned and rolled over. “You realize you are still on the couch” I sat up, pain coursing through my back. I looked around and she was right. “What time is it?” I asked, rubbing my eyes. “Its 8 am” She said, standing up. I groaned, lying back down on the couch. “Why must you do this to me?” I asked, putting my hands on my face.  She laughed. “I do it because it’s my job” I sat back up. “I’m beginning to think you do this to torture me,” I said. She shrugged. “Maybe” She smirked, walking to the kitchen. I got up and walked in the kitchen. I came up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, laying my head on her shoulder. “You are very distracting” She glanced at me. “That is the point” I chuckled, kissing her shoulder. She smiled, turning in my arms to face me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me softly. I kissed back, pulling her closer to me. I felt her smile into the kiss. I bit her bottom lip gently. She parted her lips slightly, letting out a soft moan. I pulled away when I heard a cough. I turned to see my dad standing in the doorway. “Do you need some alone time?” He smirked. Cassie buried her face into my neck, laughing softly. I chuckled. “No, you are fine, Dad.” I said, pulling away from Cassie. She turned to the stove, but I saw her blush. I walked over to the table and sat next to my Dad. “So, do you still want to quit?” My dad asked. I sighed. “I don’t know anymore. I mean I want to quit, but I don’t.” He studied my face. “I’ll tell you what, how about you stay until we get the rest of the brotherhood and Loki. And if you still want to quit, then we will not push it any further” I thought about it. Then my thoughts went straight to the kid I did not get to in time. I nodded. “Fine,” He smiled. “I’ll see you at StarkTower” My dad got up and left. I sighed, hearing the door shut. “Are you okay, Love?” Cassie asked, sitting next to me. “Yeah, I’m fine” I smiled slightly. She nodded, not pushing it. “I’ll be back,” I said, standing up and kissing her on the forehead. “Be careful” She muttered. I nodded, grabbing my keys and headed out the door.

I made it to StarkTower and walked inside. In addition, S.H.I.E.L.D agents ran around, shouting orders. “Dad? What is going on?” I asked, my eyes widening slightly. “Kyle has escaped.” He said.
