Friend - what does being positive mean to you? Being positive to me means that it doesn't
matter what I am going through - I know that all things work together for good for those who love God - and therefore I don't have to worry - for I know that everything will work out for my highest good - even if I can't see an immediate positive outcome ahead - it doesn't matter - because I am not letting feelings guide my life - because I walk by faith - not by sight.
Even though we go through extreme hard times - and great challenges - at times beyond belief - we
can remain positive because we don't have to worry about the outcome.
WHY WORRY ABOUT THE OUTCOME? - BECAUSE GOD IS IN CONTROL - AND WE KNOW HE WANTS THE BEST FOR US. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE - LET US NOT FOCUS
ON THE IMPOSSIBILITIES - BUT INSTEAD LET US FOCUS ON THE POSSIBILITIES WITH GOD - FOR WE KNOW THAT WITH GOD - ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Dear Lord
We come to you today with grateful hearts and we praise your name - our God, our refuge, our rock, our salvation. our way of escape, our comforter, and our ever present help.
Thank you Lord for being there for us at all times - both the good and the bad times. We face daily challenges Lord that sometimes overwhelm us - but Lord as we refocus our eyes back onto you
and your great love for us - we are encouraged and comforted.
We can't question your love Lord. We know that your love for us is so strong and unbreakable ...so much was your love for us - that you sent your only begotten son to this earth - where he died a terrible death - so we could live forever. What great love. How powerful. How wonderful. How awesome.
Lord alot of people are going through trying times right now - I pray for who ever is reading this prayer Lord to be comforted and encouraged by your word and your holy spirit. May you give them your
strength to endure whatever pain/stresses/heartaches they are going through right now. You know their problems Lord -
you are all knowing, all loving, all forgiving, all caring. Surround them by your mighty angels and
lead them in the right direction. Help them to love you - and never to doubt you. Fear and doubt
are destructive to our souls and sometimes we can feel paralysed by fear - but you came to give
love and life - and not fear. Perfect love casts out fear.
Lord give us your strength by the power of your holy spirit to greet whatever problems/challenges/stresses we have to go through in a positive frame of mind - knowing that all
things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are called according
to his purpose.
Help us to relax, don't worry, don't stress - because worrying and stressing doesn't change anything
but it can give us a terrible stressful day. It steals precious moments from our day - and those precious moments could of been spent thinking upon happy positive things - and enjoying the day - not stressing it away. You only want the best for us Lord. You want us to have life and life more abundantly.
Help us to walk by faith Lord and not by sight.
Help us not to focus on our problems - but give us strength to hold your hand - seek your wonderful
guidance and help and be a light to others - to encourage and support them and
to pray for them during their trials and hardships. We can pray for each other and uplift
each other by kind encouraging words. You want us to help and be there for each other Lord.
You want us to show kindness care and compassion to those around us - and for each other - for you are a God who has great concern for us.
Help us Lord to take every opportunity to help those in need, whether it be a spiritual,
emotional or physical need. It might be prayers, a listening non judgemental ear, a friendly word, a smile, a phone call, an sms, email etc.
We all need help love encouragement and support Lord. Help us to see people through your eyes
and respond to their needs with swift caring action - for you are a God of love and action Lord.
There are so many people out there who put on brave faces Lord while secretly they are covering deep heartache and they shed many tears in private. Help us to help them Lord - help us to open our hearts
to listen carefully to them so we can hear and see their non verbal cries for help - so we may respond appropriately - as you would want us to respond. Walk with us
Lord through the coming week - keeping our eyes fixed on you - the one who has the answers to
every problem/solution and help us to stay close to you - by reading your bible to encourage ourselves and also to increase our faith - and may we also draw close to you through prayer. Let us not neglect also Lord to have some fun things going on in our lives as well - for you want us to be happy, contented, balanced people. Amen
