Opposites Attract

It Has Started

    Hey guys. I know many of the girls in Fairy Tail live at Fairy Hills; however for this they each have a house. Also if Mira or any of the others act out of character I'm so sorry. I changed some personalities slightly for the story to work. There is a cute NaLu moment in this chapter.

Mira's POV

    I am so happy! Master agreed to my plan. This is great. Since he agreed I need to find Jellal and get Rouge to agree. So I grabbed Rouge and headed out to the woods. He didn't want to come, but I let off a dark aura and he came along. When we got to the woods I yelled, "Jellal." It took a moment, but he soon emerged.

"What is up Mira? I thought you said only an emergence would make you call me."

"Why is Jellal here? He is a wanted criminal!" Rouge exclaimed.

    I ignored Rouge's question, and told them both my plan. Rouge's face slowly turned to horror, while Jellal got kind of excited.

    "Are you crazy?" Rouge said, "There is no way I'm helping you with that. It's not my fault Sting helped destroy your guild hall. I'm not helping you and you can't change my mind."

    "You are right; however as the only other Sabertooth member here you must help. If you don't, I'm not sure Sabertooth has enough money to pay for the repairs." As I said that I realized my aura had turned black and I was glowering. After that he quickly agreed. Jellal needed no further encouragement. He said he was happy to help. I gave Jellal a bracelet and told him to be at the guild hall ruins in about fifteen minutes. Then Rouge got his bracelet, and we both left.

    When we got to the bar where almost everyone from the guild was hanging out, I gathered Lucy, Juvia, Levy, Evergreen, Wendy, and Freed. I gave them each a bracelet and told them the bracelets were for trying to break up the fight. I told them that the bracelets gave them priority in the guild. Then we all headed to the ruins, because I insisted we go.

No One's POV

    When they arrived the master made an announcement to the whole guild, while standing on a tall piece of rubble. "As you all know the guild hall has been destroyed again." He said looking at those responsible. "I have come up with a suitable punishment." When he said that, everyone sweatdropped. "Will the group who was with Mira please come here, and those responsible for the destruction?" They all joined him up on the rock. Those who caused the destruction of the guild hall each had a small packed bag with them, except for Erza. Jellal also had a small bag. He announced that these bracelets would keep that destructive behavior under control. Each of those involved in the fight would be paired with someone to help them control their destruction. He said, "The pairs are Natsu and Lucy, Gray and Juvia, Gajeel and Levy, Laxus and Freed, Elfman and Evergreen, Romeo and Wendy, Erza and Jellal, and lastly Sting and Rouge. The bracelets work like this: you can be no more than six feet from your partner, and it restricts the use of magic that could harm your partner. Each pair, apart from Erza and Jellal and Sting and Rouge, will being staying at the house of those who didn't destroy the guild. I am leaving for a trip now, so Mira you are in charge. She is now the only one who can stop your punishment and deactivate the bracelet. See you brats later."

    Everyone was in an uproar. Natsu didn't get what the big deal was. Laxus didn't really care. Gajeel faced the fact that he would be around a lot of books over the next few days. Juvia, Jellal, and Freed were happy about this. Lucy didn't say anything. She just headed home and dragged Natsu behind her.

Lucy's POV

    As I headed home I thought over what master had said in my head. I was going to be stuck with Natsu for who knows how long. Then I smiled to myself maybe it won't be so bad.

    "Why are you smiling?" Natsu asked.

    "Nothing you would care about." I snapped back pretending to be annoyed. He is kind of cute in an irritating and exasperating way. When we got back to my house I grabbed my pajamas, and headed into the bathroom to change. The six foot distance meant that we both stood three feet away from the door on both sides. Once we both finished changing I set up a bed on the floor for Natsu, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep.

Natsu's POV

As I tried to sleep, but I found that I couldn't. I looked at Lucy and she looked very cute lying on her bed. What is this emotion? I've never felt this way before. It can't be an emotion. It is probably indigestion. No more flaming tacos before bed. Then I fell asleep in Lucy's bed.
