D E D I C A T I O N

this goes out to anyone who would give anything to get a chance to escape for a while.
this is for them who want to get away,
from the ordinary patterns of their seemingly mundane life,
or from the things that wear them out and take away the glint in their eyes,
from the ones who keep them awake at night,
from the things that make them want to scream and cry and fall into a deep sleep —
a sleep that will last forever.
this is for them who seem to be falling apart
and feel like they're never going to be mended ever again,
who are tired of everything
but still continue to keep walking through the thunderstorms
whether it is because of the bravery to continue living or the fear of death,
the hope of better times,
or anything else that might concern them.
this is for them who are devoid of colors
and want to wash their feelings away
like watercolors on a blank canvas,
to surround themselves with the warmth of food
and breathe in the comforting scent of candles,
of emotions sculpted into a smooth yet hard solid,
illuminated by the glow of fairy lights and surrounded by every attempt to ease the pain.
this is for those who are broken beyond repair, no matter why or how or since when.
but most importantly;

this is for you.

anyeong~!
so this book, as you can tell from the synopsis, is a compilation of [unless stated]
self-written excerpts from the usual 'stories i will never write'.
basically, these are just paragraphs that i've poured my heart and soul into —
and i happened to feel like sharing them with you.
[big, major lie: i don't have a heart or a soul.]
but, despite my incompleteness as a physical being,
[if i'm not mistaken, a human has a heart, body and soul — religiously speaking. or is it mind, body and soul?]

p.s.: being a person who usually reads using the font trebuchet ms on wattpad, i highly recommend that you switch your font to a formal-y kind of font (the kind you'd find in printed novels) like georgia (or times new roman, if you'd prefer). the excerpts will look so much nicer with a font like that, i promise :)
