I held onto her hand when we got back to her house. I just wanted to feel close to her.
She was as beautiful as I'd thought she'd be, if not more.
Her green eyes were tinged with sadness and I couldn't think why.
We entered the house and her mam came over.
"Nia told me some of what happened. Are you ok?"
"Yeah mam. This is Tony. We're just going upstairs to talk".
"Ok" she said.
She showed me the way to her room and asked me if I needed anything.
"I just need to have a quick shower" she said.
"I'm going to text Jaime to let him know I found you ok. He is a worrier" I laughed.
She smiled at me shyly and headed to the bathroom.
