Yes, this is true. I maybe don't complain a lot, but I'm rather pessimistic. When I'm around my friends I try to look like an optimistic person but when I'm alone or around people who know me better my pessimistic side can show. Or at bad situations. But luckily the others don't really realise that because they are also like that.
So I hope too that it'll change in the future. Or that I will change.
