Strictly Business [Levi x Reader]

Prologue

I huffed in annoyance as I stared at myself in the clouded mirror, it was covered in dust and other unsanitary things, I tried to get a better look at myself but all I could see were the dark rings that sat underneath my azure pupils giving me the appearance of sleep deprivation, there were also strands of pale blonde hair sticking out from the top of my scalp like straw. I hadn't gotten any sleep last night due to the stressful thoughts that completely plagued my mind, today was the first day of my new job at Ackerman Corp, one of the biggest industries in Japan as well as multiple other countries overseas. Sure I was only going to be an assistant, but who knows what other opportunities could present themselves to me whilst I work there.

I glanced down at my work attire, it consisted of a wrinkled white blouse, a mid length black skirt that hugged my figure perfectly, a pair of onyx suede heels and

I glanced at the clock that rested above my mirror, my eyes doubled in size at the realization that I was already 10 minutes late. I cursed repeatedly at my lack of competence. Rushing out of my front door, I ran out on to the streets like I was a mad man on drugs. I earned a few odd stares from strangers, however I brushed them off and carried on sprinting down the cobbled streets. I soon came to an abrupt halt, I stared in awe at the colossal building that stood in front of me the building itself towered over all the other smaller buildings that sat next to it. I completely disregarded my thoughts and began to make my way in.

I hesitantly stepped into the entrance hall and began searching for an employee. The place was surrounded by cameras and metal detectors, I even spotted a few beefy looking men, who I presumed were body guards, standing at various corners whilst radiating an intimidating aura. I averted my eyes from their physiques and looked around hoping to find something of use, fortunately it wasn't long until I spotted an employee, she had short strawberry blonde hair and large hazel eyes a large smile danced on her lips as she stood behind a wooden oak desk. I figured she was probably the secretary. I walked towards the desk and stood there awkwardly for a couple of seconds before deciding to introduce myself.

"H-hey, I'm Emi Tanaka the new assistant." I spoke in a clear voice whilst hiding my anxiousness as best as I could.

The young lady looked at me and offered me a friendly smile. "Good morning Emi. It's nice to meet you, I'm Petra Ral."

"It's nice to meet you too, I'm really sorry that I'm late, normally I'm on time it's just that I was slightly nervous so I didn't get much sleep last night causing me to wake up later than usual so I ended up not having enough time to get ready and then I als-" My rant was cut off by a deep and husky voice.

"Tch. Oi brat, you're late." I turned around to come face to face with a man who was not much taller than myself. 

 He had sleek black hair that hung loosely around his pale face. His captivating steel grey orbs bore into my head like bullets, they were intimidating yet alluring at the same time.

I didn't realize I was gawking at him like a lust filled teenager until I was snapped out of my daze by his cold, sharp voice.

"Tch, take your filthy eyes off me and get to my damn office, now. Or you'll be punished." His tone was laced with disgust, he spat every word out as if it was venom.

I fiddled with the fur of my coat before giving him a tentative nod of acknowledgement. 

"Y-yes sir." I said with a slight blush that tinted my milky skin, I was beyond embarrassed.

He then turned around giving me a quick side glance before sneering at me and strutting of.

'This is going to be a long day.'
