All of a sudden, the bus lost control.
The sound of the screeching tyres on the rain washed road woke me up.

There was noise everywhere, it wasn't the noise of the raindrops outside. The noise was more like a cry, a call for help.

What's happening? Why is everywhere dark? Why can't i move? How did i get outside in the rain?

I tried opening my eyes one more time. But my head hurts like never. My right eyes felt like it was out of it's socket.

"Jacob?" I tried calling, but it came out more like a whisper. My body was limp, I couldn't move.

What's happening? Why can't i move? Where's everybody. Why is it dark in here? My mind kept on running a thousand race.

I tried to recall, to see beyond these darkness. Nothing came out. My memory went blank.

I felt like crying, but i couldn't find the tears to do so, my body wasn't responding to reflexes anymore. Was i dead? I thought suddenly.

Is this my end? I can't remember seeing any Angel seeing me through.

Or was he quick enough that i didn't have the time to say goodbye to my family.

It suddenly occurred to me. I have a family, everyone does. Where's mine? Who are they?

I tried to recall harder this time, a blurry vision of my mum and Jacob envisioned in my mind.

I could see myself sitting next to them playing chess, they were happy.

And i was watching, watching from afar, no one seems to notice me.
Are these my family? I asked rhetorically knowing fully they're my family.

I tried to open my left eye since the right eye wasn't ready to cooperate.

The sudden exposure to a bright light made my head whizzy, making my headache worse than before.
I abruptly closed my eyes back, hoping to find solace and relief in this endless darkness.

"Heaven lord, save my soul from this tremendous darkness and sorrow." I made a silent prayer.

Then fell into slumber, and thence into a dreamless sleep. With no clue about reality.

Mandari community.
The thick forest surrounding the Mandari community made a natural border for itself by the surrounding huge trees, marking it's territory and keeping away from the other two cannibalistic community, Niam Niam and Matabele the other inferior community Musoti  was more or less a heterogeneous community which where more into Agriculture than Flesh hunting. Which made them a very close friends to the Mandari's

The Mandari community is a little kingdom with no modern civilization. It has been living a primitive lifestyle. Mainly depending on fishing, hunting and trading. They have little access and communication with the world.

One could hardly notice the existence of these communities or distinguish them unless if he belongs to one of these four, which usually makes lost tourist or travellers prey's of the cannibalism community.

"Long live our king!  "Long live the greatest lion!"  long live these great community!

*Crowd chorus. As the king, his son and other soldiers return from the annual hunt.

"Am so proud of you Akashinga," the queen said happily hugging the next crown Prince.

"Thank you mum," he returned back the hug.

"I need some time alone, it hasn't been easy hunting alongside with papa. I need to clear my mind off a bit." he said walking out of her.

He rummage through the forest until he found a path leading to the outskirts of the village.
