 'Come on Y/N! It's been ages since you visited us.' Kuroo wincedloudly making you hold away the phone from your ear. 'I won't comeKuroo. And you know why!' of course he knew. He was the main reason.You still shuddered when you remembered how your last visit at Nekomaturned out. Some muffled sounds came from the other end of the line.'Please come Y/N.' Kenmas voice was heard. Your expression changed toannoyance upon hearing that well known tone of his. 'He took yourconsole again did he?' you asked receiving a hum from Kenma as ananswer. 'Fine I'll come.' you finally gave in face palming yourself.You knew Kenma couldn't survive without his game for long, wellactually you didn't know for how long he would be able too...butstill. Ever since you became friends with the both of them back inmiddle school Kuroo used Kenma to get you to do things. You ended thecall and starred at your phone for a while. How should you survive?It was impossible. It was okay when Kuroo teased you on your crushwhen the three of you were alone, but it was a whole different storywhen your crush was in the same room. Even if that room was a gymhall. Days later you slowly made your way to Nekoma. Maybe you didn'tneed to stay long? Maybe you could escape early? And maybe they hadso much practice to do that Kuroo couldn't find time to mess withyou. Once you reached the gym and walked inside you were greeted bythe team. They were about to start practice already. Good. You couldfeel your heart pound in your chest while you tried as hart aspossible not to look at Kai. Everything seemed well. Even when theytook a break Kuroo kept quiet. You found yourself at a point whereyou were almost relaxing. Well you should never keep your guard down.'I totally forgot about them. Maybe you could take them to theteachers room right now?' you heard Kuroo say to Kai, who on theother hand looked a little annoyed. 'They were due last week.' Kaistated taking some papers from Kuroo who in return scratched hisneck. 'Sorry. Well we need to go one with the training, but you cantake Y/N with you to keep you company on the way.' Kuroo grinned. No.He. Didn't. Kai didn't seem to see anything wrong with it so youended up walking out of the gym with him. Looking back over yourshoulder you saw Kuroo poking his tongue out at you. For the majorityof the walk you were silent, your cheeks probably as red as Kais teamjacket. He dropped of the papers and you walked back. Great. Youdidn't even talked ONE WORD with him. Why couldn't you just be asconfident as Kuroo? 'I'm sorry.' you were surprised when Kai suddenlyspoke out. 'Huh?' great that was an intelligent reaction. 'No matterwhat Kuroo told you, just forget about it.' did you just imagine itor was he blushing a little. 'What are you talking about?' whatcould've the stupid captain told you anyway. 'Well I noticed that youcan't even look at me and you don't seem to want to talk to me. SoKuroo probably told you about it. I'm fine. Really. I never expectedyou to return my feelings anyways.' that made you stop in yourtracks. If you didn't get it wrong he just addmitted that he likedyou. 'I didn't know that.' you're great reaction again. 'Youdidn't?' Kai looked at you surprised. You shook your head. 'Icouldn't look at you because...well...I was afraid Kuroo would startteasing me again if I did.' you told him honestly. 'Why should hetease you because you look at me?' he was seemingly so sure youcouldn't like him back that his brain didn't function. 'Because Ilike you...?' now that was awkward. You two stood there looking ateach other. Probably for solid five minutes or so. 'Okay.' Kai brokethe awkward silence. 'Okay.' you nodded not being able to look at himdirectly.  'Than...how about we hang out sometime?' now you lookedat him. You couldn't keep the smile from appearing on your face. 'I'dlike that.' Kai smiled too. And you two walked back into the gym.'We've got a couple everybody!' Kuroo shouted the moment you walkedin. You felt your face getting hotter as the team looked at you.'We're not a couple. Not yet.' Kai replied calmly. That even worsenyour blush. At that moment you realized that Kuroo would never letyou life that down.
