Ship names are usually derived from mixing the two characters names, characteristics, or defining features. Today we shall go over the multiple ways you can name a ship.
The ship Bonnica, from the FNAF fandom (I'm trying to let it die, okay?) is a ship between the characters Bonnie and Chica. The ship name itself is a mix of their names.
BONNie and chICA.
The ship White Rose from the RWBY fandom, which we will refer to as FNDM, is a ship between Wiess Schnee and Ruby Rose.
Wiess translates to White, and Rose is... the character's last name. So White Rose.
The ship Gelato, also from FNDM, is between the characters Roman Torchwick and Neopolotan. Gelato is a type of Greek ice cream, the Romans inhabited Greece for the longest time, and Neopolotan is a type of ice cream, so Gelato is the ship of Roman X Neopolotan.
The ship Collateral Damage, also from FNDM, is between Nora Valkire and Yang Xiao Long. Both, while in combat, have a certain talent for destroying things. So, their ship name was Collateral Damage.
Finally, the Bumblebee ship, also from FNDM. This ship is between Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long, and this ship name is based off their color schemes. Blake has a primarily black color scheme while Yang has a primarily yellow color scheme. And something that's equally black and yellow, other than the Pittsburg Steelers, is a Bumblebee.
Also Yang's motorcycle is called Bumblebee so that had a lot to do with it.
Next lesson, the different types of ships. For your homework, you are supposed to bring up 3 ships of different names. They can all be from the same fandom or different fandoms. It really doesn't matter.
