Afraid to Say I Love You

Sliver of a silver sword

Crashing ‘gainst the careful knight

Troubling the tranquil night

She cannot speak a word.

Blood blurring teary eyes

Limping bodies bathed in light

Uttering ‘urmurs black and white

Take a chance, roll the dice

Sliver of a silver soul

Spying through the shattered heart

Weeping like the wistful wind

“I love you.”
