"BEEP BEEP BEEP"My alarm clock started beeping.Ugh why does school have to start so early? I smacked my alarm clock to make it shut up and forced myself out of bed. I had one glance in the mirror and I could tell it was not going to be a fun morning. I trotted over to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and my hair, then washed my face hoping it would wake me up. I sighed. I walked over to my closet, which is a mess I rolled my eyes. "Piper, hurry up your bus leaves in 10 minutes." My dad yelled, oh and by the way my dad is Tristan McLean, a movie star. Ugh this is one of the times I wished Aphrodite could just help me out and give me an outfit, as if on cue my ratty Pink Floyd t-shirt and my donut jammies turned into a grey v-neck and distressed jeansI even had high tops on. I looked down in satisfaction, I grabbed my book bag and headed downstairs. I grabbed the bag of blueberries I had packed last night, hugged my dad and headed out.

The warm October wind blew around me as I walked to the bus stop, there were three other kids there, all in makeup and clothes that was too tight and showed too much skin. I cringed away when one the girls glared at me, wonderful someone already hates me and I hadn't even stepped foot in school yet.
When the bus finally came I started towards it but the three girls pushed their way in front of me. I scoffed " excuse you." They all looked back and rolled their eyes at me. It took all my willpower not to punch them. I took a deep breath and climbed onto the bus. I sat by myself in the second row and plugged in my ear buds, I was in the middle of listening to Panic at the disco when there was a light tap on my shoulder, I glanced up surprised there was a boy with poop brown hair and round eyes, he was scrawny and seemed like the troublemaker kind. He kind of reminded me of Leo. Not wanting to be rude I said " Sure go ahead." " My names Noah by the way" he said smiling " I'm piper" I said extending my hand shaking it he said " are you new?"

" I would have noticed someone like you" he shrugged.

" oh don't worry I have a girlfriend I not hitting on you or anything." He said with a chuckle.
I breathed a sigh of relief
I drifted into thought about camp half blood, what they were doing right now, probably eating breakfast, I thought of Jason, Annabeth,Hazel, Frank, and Thalia. Then I started to think about Leo, the time he'd burned his underwear in a movie theatre because Nico snuck up on him. I stared to get sad and it didn't help that someone who looked like Leo was sitting right next to me. My eyes started to tear up, but the was no way I'd cry in front of anyone. I blinked the tears away and thought about he good times I had with Jason.
" Hey we're here" a voice interrupted my flashbacks. I stood up and walked out of the bus where Noah was waiting for me.
" I'll see you around Piper, let me know if you need help with anything."Noah said
I took a deep breath and walked through the door.
