I never meant for these things to happen. You know the ones where your life is falling apart and then you put it back together? The ones that actually count for who you are going to be in the future. Those are the things that brought me here.. where I'm now earning my keep at a coffee shop in Los Angeles and having people stare at me like I don't belong here. Maybe they're right. But they don't know my story. The one you're about to see unfold from The Life I Left to the live I lead now.

~Three months ago~

Lorelei was sitting in class behind her desk, writing as usual. The flow of her fellow classmates filing in, slowly came to an end as the bell rang. She sighed and tuned out as Mr.Graham, her history teacher, began to lecture them on the Ming Dynasty. A note landed on her desk from her Best Friend Lana, Lorelei glanced at her with a blank expression before opening the note.
'Meet me in the girls locker room during Lunch I have a surprise for you.' Lorelei smirked a little and nodded to her and tuned out during the rest of the class period. When the bell rang she got up and grabbed her things popping a stick of gum into her mouth and running off to her next class that was between her and the hour long lunch period that she loved so dearly. She sat in her usual seat in the back of the class and cracked her gum loudly which turned a couple heads. It was her English class so she would actually pay attention to her teacher. She took a few notes as she spoke and then smiled as the teacher told the class they had free write the rest of the period. She wrote to her hearts content and frowned a little once the bell rang signalling for class to be over. She remembered the note and wandered her way to the locker rooms, slipping her slender body through the small opening she made for herself as she opened the door. Lorelei looked around "Hello? Lana?" She called, unsure of what was happening. The tall brunette appeared and smirked "Hey there Lorelei." She said and Lorelei stepped forward tripping over a string pulled as a tightrope would be. She fell onto the floor where glue, feathers, and shaving cream were which coated her whole front side.
"LANA! WHAT THE HELL!?" She screamed sitting up and wiping off her eyes, nose and mouth. She stood and walked towards Lana angrily and triggered another string that dumped water all over her leaving her drenched. Lorelei frowned deeply and crossed her arms over her chest stepping forward once more but this time not triggering anything and grabbed Lana' s collar of her shirt and pinned her to the wall. Lana continued to smirk and Lorelei laughed coldly and slapped her across the face leaving Lana in shock "Lana why did you do this to me?" She asked angrily.
"Lorelei you didn't think I was actually your friend did you? I didn't want to just out and say it to you so I did this instead. You deserve it though. I looked like a loser for a while because of you." She shrugged rubbing her cheek. Lorelei's frown grew deeper and she walked out of the locker room leaving a trail of water behind her. She earned laughs through out the day from teachers and fellow students which only made her anger grow inside. The day ended soon and she walked home ignoring her parents who were arguing over work in the living room. She grabbed her bottle of Hair removal lotion and put it in her backpack before changing and collapsing on her bed letting sleep overcome her.
The next morning Lorelei got up exceptionally early and got ready for the day running to school and then into the girls lockers room she went to Lanas locker and opened it grabbing her shampoo. She too the Hair removal lotion out of her bag and dumped the Shampoo from the bottle rinsing it down the drain of the sink. She refilled the bottle with the lotion and smirked closing the bottle and walking back  to Lanas locker and putting it back where it was. She put the bottle back in her bag and walked out to her usual spot excited for second period gym class where she would earn her revenge. After a while she went to first period Algebra class and copied the problems and as usual tuned out the teacher. As the class ended she smiled smugly and went to gym. She changed into her gym uniform and went out to the court waiting to take roll with her teacher. She watched as Lana walked out of the locker room and she kept her smug smile on her lips. The class flew by as they played dodge ball after their daily conditioning. Lorelei walked to the locker rooms and changed with a small sigh she watched as Lana grabbed the bottle she filled and then her towel and she walked off to the shower. She smirked and sat waiting. After a few minutes Lana came back out and she changed into her clothes her hair already a noticible amount thinner than before. The bell rang and Lorelei walked out and smiled in satisfaction. In the next class Lorelei paid no attention till the teacher called her and she looked up "Yes?" She responded.
The teacher sighed "The principal needs to speak with you." The teacher said and she nodded grabbing her things and walking out and to the office. She stepped into the administrators office building and walked till she reached the principals  office and she smirked at a balded Lana. The principal hollered for both of them and they both stepped inside. "Lorelei your parents have already been called. This is a horrid offense that you have done. Yes we are aware you put hair removal lotion in Lana Harrison's shampoo bottle, we've already looked at the tapes. You are yo be Expelled for the offense. Effective immediately after I talk with your parents." Principal Chapman said sternly as she filled out the paperwork. Lana smirked a little "However Lana your offenses didnt go unnoticed. You will have one months suspension and you will not be attending the school activities such as Prom and Winter Formal."  She said And as soon as she finished both sets of parents walked in very unhappily. Later that night Lorelei was grounded and was to be sent to her grandmother Jodie' s house in Los Angeles to live and serve a community service sentence if three months and for the remainder of her school career. She packed and left the next morning her parents sending her stuff behind her in a moving van.
