Lauryn POV

2 weeks later.............

"I feel a miracle  in the house tonight " said my father.  "I said I feel a miracle in the house tonight "he repeated.  "amen " everybody screamed.  "if you going through something give it to God tonight "he preached.  " peter 5:6-7 says Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." he read. " you put all your problems and worries  in the lord hands and have faith that he will solve your problem's he will!"he said while closing in the church.  We prayed and then church was over.  I do like I always do hug people and talk.  Maya have been living with me every since she got out the hospital.  Everything has died down and I'm glade all of this is over.  I walked back in the church and Lazarus and Maya was talking.  I walked over and they was laughing.  "hi bestfriend "I say hugging her.  I never stop telling her how much I love her.  "hey Lauryn church was good today as usual "she say smiling.  I smiled back. Maya has been getting back on track with the lord Evey since she been living with me. "Um Lauryn can I talk to you ' Lazarus asked.  Me and him has been getting close and I actually think I like him.  I mean he comes to church with me every Sunday ,Friday,and Wednesday and he have a job at foot locker's . "mmm I give y'all some space "Maya laughed.  I rolled my eyes playfully.  "so um look Lauryn I really like you and these past week's has been nothing but fun and you keep me close to God and I want you to be my girl "he said.  I didn't know what to say.  I never had a boyfriend and nobody never liked me cause everybody bullied me about not doing things that they did.  People  considered me as  a goodie two shoe's and Mrs.perfect all of that.  "sure "I said. He smiled and leaned in. I didn't know what to do so I lean back.  " you never kissed before "he asked me.  I shook my head no in embarrassment. "it's okay ma"he said while putting his hand in mines. We walked out the church and he walked me to my car.  " let me see your phone " he said.  I gave him my phone and he hugged me.  "talk to you later "he said.  I got my phone and entered the car.  "mmm "everybody said while looking at me.  "what? "I asked.  Then my dad pulled out. "dad church was good "I said trying to break the silence. He didn't answer me like he always do.  I text Luke even though I'm sitting by him.

Luke:  he doesn't want you to date

me:  what I never had a boyfriend and you know it

Luke:  we all know that's why mama and Maya tried to take up for you but he haven't said anything

Me:  this is not fair

Luke:  I love you sis and you  know life isn't always fair

Me:  ugh I know love you to

We pulled up to the house and we all got out.  He unlocked the door and he went in without saying a word.  "what's wrong with him "I asked my mother.  "nothing he's just tired "She said. "are you really going to lie to me "I asked.  "I will not have this disrespect from you "she yelled.  "yes ma'am "I respond.  " very well "She said while going in the kitchen to start dinner.  I went up to my dad office to see him in there. "dad" I said while standing in the door frame. "Lauryn "he say . "why are you mad at me "I asked.  "Lauryn you are to young to be dating "he exclaimed.  "I'm 16 dad I never had a boyfriend "I said.  "it doesn't matter Lauryn"he yelled.  "this isn't fair I can't have a boyfriend but Luke and Leviticus can have a girlfriend "I yelled.  "who do you think you yelling at little girl I will not have this disrespect from you " he yelled.  "why can't I date but they can "I cried.  "Because Lauryn it's different "he yelled.  I looked at him like he was crazy.  " I don't want to see you with him "he ordered.  "why "I yelled. "give me your phone and tablet "he yelled.  I went to my room and got them for him.  I went back and handed the stuff to him.  "you are on punishment until further notice you are dismissed "he yelled.  I walked out his office with tears falling down my face.  "lauryn what happened "I heard my mother asked . I  ignored her and went into my room.  Maya has the guest room so it's her room now. I cried into my pillow until I fell asleep.
