Chapter 1

Desire pov

I woke up to a loud beeping sound louder than my alarm clock. Stumbling and trying to catch my balance I slip on my cute pink bunny slippers and walk down stairs.

I reached the living room to see my father reading the newspaper. "Good morning honey" he said with a bright smile on his face.

"Morning dad....ouuu something smells good" I said practically drooling over the delicious scent while making my way to the table.

"It's my wonderful cooking sweetie...Pancakes, eggs and bacon" my mom said with a plate in her hand I'm guessing that's for me.

"Sounds wonderful and I bet it taste as good as it smells" I smile staring at my food. My mom and dad was one of the best cooks in our neighborhood everyone would ask them to bake a cake or make something for a special event.

"Ha well would you look at that" my dad said chuckling while looking out the window.

"What" me and my mom said in unison.

"There's some folks moving in next door"

"No way no one has moved in that house in a long time" I said getting up leaving my food and looking out the window with my dad.

It's true no one has been in that house in forever. It's not like it's a bad house or anything. I was snapped out of my thought when my mom started talking. "I wonder who it is and if it's a woman with children"

"I hope it's a girl we can use more of those in our neighborhood but then again what if it's a charming looking boy" I said forgetting my dad was right here.

"What was that sweetie" he asked. "Ohhh nothing dad don't mind me" I said nervously.

"Well maybe we can go over and introduce ourselves" my mom said.

"Ummm mom you know I'm kinda shy"

"It's ok baby and who knows maybe there is a boy ur age your gonna be interested in"

I finished breakfast and went to go change my clothes. I wore something comfortable a white t-shirt and some grey leggings and I also put my hair in a messy bun. I walked down stairs to see my parents waiting for me by the door.

We walked next door and knocked on the door. A woman answered with a warm smile. "Hi I'm Alice and this is my husband Christen and this is my daughter Desire" my mom said introducing us to the new neighbor.

"Hi I'm Michele and I have a son named Austin but he's upstairs unpacking" she said smiling again. I was shocked and a little excited to know that she has a son.

"Would you guys like to come in" she asked gesturing for us to come in.

We walked in and seen boxes everywhere but for them to just be moving in they unpacked really fast. The living room and dining room was already set it was just extra boxes everywhere.

"Would u excuse me for a moment" she said walking towards the steps.

"Austin would you come down here I have some new friends I want you to meet"

"Yeah mom I'll be down in a second"

She walked back to where we were and smiled and within seconds a handsome young boy came walking down the stairs and instantly our eyes met as he stoped at the bottom.

"Umm sweetie" Michele said interrupting our eye contact.

"Austin this is Alice, Christen and their daughter Desire"

"Umm hi" I said shyly.

"Hey" he said waving.

"Um how about you give Desire a tour of the house and get to know each other while I get to know her parents"

"Ok" he responded.

He started walking to the stairs and I followed him.

"Soo where are we going first" I asked.

"My room"

I entered his room and it was painted red. It wasn't a small room but it wasn't big either. It's was a nice size for a teenage boy.

He walked over to his bed and sat down and I sat beside him.
It was an awkward silence for a moment.

"Sooo tell me about your self" he said.

"Ok...well my name is Desire Ross, I'm 16 about to turn 17 in 1 month, my favorite color is Emerald Green and Red, my favorite food is pizza my favorite sport is basketball, my bestfriend name is Mia and I'm very shy and the only child so far" I said fidgeting with my fingers "How about you" I added.

"My name is Austin Mahone, I'm 17, my birthday is April the 4th, my favorite food is pizza, my favorite color is Red, I like playing basketball, I have 3 bestfriends that also live here, one of them are Alex and he's moving in with us soon, ummm and I'm the only child as well"

"Wow we have somethings in common" I said looking around the room...I'm soo nervous!!

"Hey why are you so nervous" he asked lifting my face up by my chin.

"Umm I never really talked to a boy like this"

"So u never had a boyfriend"

"I had one but it didn't last long I was too shy"

"So have u ever kissed a boy" he asked coming closer to me.

"N-no" i stuttered.

"Well could I be your first" he said lifting my chin up and before I could even answer I felt his soft pink lips on mines. It felt wonderful I felt all type of sparks I never felt before. It was like it was magical.

He pulled away and smiled. "You wel-" before he could finish I kissed him and this time it was full make out session.

We pulled away for air and I was blushing really bad it was like crimson red. "Wow for someone that haven't had a first kiss you sure do know how to kiss" he said.

I smiled and said "Well thank you Mr.Mahone"

"Trust me my pleasure" he said "Do you wanna go back down stairs" he added

"Sure" I said.

"Hold on here" he said handing me a ripped piece of paper.

"Don't open it until you get home"

"Ok"

We walked down stairs and met our parents. "Good right on cue" my mom said.

"And thanks again Alice for coming over I could use a new friend" she said and hugged my mom. I walked over to my parents and smiled remembering the event that took place upstairs.

"See you later Austin and Mrs.Mahone"

"Oh please sweetie call me Michele"

"Ok"

"See you later Desire" Austin said smiling and waving. I smiled and waved before leaving out.

Woah this was the best evening ever wait till I tell Mia!! I squealed in my head.
