I've read many books. Trust me, I've read more books than you or any genius and elder out there. I have all the time to read. That's what I only do. My room turns into a library with just a little space for my single sized bed.

I love the smell of books like the usual book nerds, the smell of something new and at the same time, old. I cannot puzzle out its effects. Why is it like a drug? Is it me or there's really a reason behind it? Perhaps, because I'm just a bookworm.

Every book I have, I took it as my possession. I have them stamped with my name as my property.

The bell rings indicating that it is already training time for every wolf. I sigh and change into my uniform. I have to act again. If there has been an award for being fake and a fraud, I already won and grabbed it.

As I enter the field, I see others getting into their own groups. Well you see, I don't have any friends. Not even one that I could call as a companion. No one I could call a shoulder to cry on. Shrugging, I have my pillows and books to cry though.

"Hi beautiful."

I turn around and saw Ismael showing me his signature flirty smile. I can still remember the stages of feelings I get when he greets me; from fear to tired and now I'm passive. I just stare back at him until one of his friends stared at me and wink before snatching back his guy.

Some girls glare at me, some girls just stare, others are scared, some tried to befriend and talk and some have the audacity to growl. Same goes for the male wolves. I'm used to their treatment.

Actually, it got worst a year ago when I finally got my badge. It is platinum blue indicating that I could challenge a Gamma with my strength and skill. I hide it in my pocket while others want to boast about theirs.

I haven't seen a diamond badge, though. Even our Alpha only has pure platinum, the second highest level and his strength is undeniably powerful already that no one wants to challenge. He is born for it and with his blood, no one in sane would dare and provoke against him.

I wonder how much more powerful a wolf who has a diamond badge.

I cannot wait to go back in my room or in my favorite tree and read.

"Assemble! The leaders are arriving!", yelled one of the guards. By leaders they mean the trio – Alpha, Beta and Gamma.

Those positions could only be claimed by one person per pack. Mostly, their descendants claim the next generation. That's just how it goes or if someone could challenge which rarely happens, can claim the position if they win.

As for my rank or simply the importance in this pack, I am one of the omega. The lowest hierarchy in the pack. The wolves who are meant for submission above them. But no, we are not slaves or vassal. We are like the pup or weakest though that the rest of the pack needs to protect.

If I join the female warriors and fighters considering I have a platinum blue badge, I could probably be a Delta but that could give away my secrets. I cannot risk that much.

The leaders arrive with complete dominance and power in them, behind them are the future leaders, their sons who reek the same aura.

"Good day, everyone! I gather you here to inform that the first prince of kingdom Glacier will arrive in a month for pack meetings!", Alpha Leonardo's voice boomed loudly resonating a magnificent authority towards us.

"I look forward to a peaceful and welcoming commemoration for the prince!"

The training ended with the announcement from the leaders. I suddenly got nervous. I don't know who are the royal kingdom. All I know is they're very powerful, way more robust than the Alpha in every pack. They're so influential they could order someone to live or die in a single nod of their heads.
