WHAT SCREWS US UP MOST IN LIFE IS THE PICTURE IN OUR HEADS OF WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE. Said by Unknown.
Depression is a cruel person. Torturous and painful in its own way, manipulative and so overwhelmingly yet silently confining, dragging you down to the point that, there is no light at the end. They all say the same thing, inevitably. Despite the multiple tests and medication that doesn't work, they still manage to say everything's gonna be just fine. Reminds me of someone... Steve maybe.
Have you ever felt tired? Yes? Liar. You've never truly felt pure fatigue.
Pure and utter exhaustion accumulated over days and weeks and months of that same old grey thundercloud that had to hang over your head. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. It's not just you. It's me. It's them. It's everyone around us, everyone with us, everyone you know, everyone you don't know, everyone who is anyone. They are all affected. It's pathetic really isn't it? It's pretty much a slap to the face.
Leave me alone I say. And what does society say back? You're an attention seeker. You're pathetic. You're just a crybaby. You're making a big deal over nothing. Everyone goes through it. You're so selfish. Selfish. I say I'm depressed and you say I'm selfish. Sounds pretty correct to me. Then again I don't know anything.
